House surrounded by greenery a stone's throw from the center of Lecce
Located 3.5 km from Piazza Mazzini, Casa del Sole offers accommodations in Lecce featuring a common room, a terrace, and a shared kitchen. This property features a balcony and free private parking.
This 2-bedroom apartment has a living room with a flat-screen TV, a kitchen with cooking utensils, and 2 bathrooms.
Piazza Sant’Oronzo is 4 km from this apartment, while Roca is 29 km away. Brindisi-Casale Airport is 42 km away I’d like to make your stay as enjoyable as possible by providing information on everything related to Salento—from the beaches worth visiting to festivals, events, towns to explore, places to eat, or general knowledge about our region. I teach yoga and will offer yoga classes as an extra service if any guests would like to explore this practice in the park or by the sea. If guests prefer not to go out, upon prior arrangement, I can prepare traditional meals right here at the property as a “home restaurant,” There’s a garage in the same building where we’ll have a bike rental service—currently just two bikes available. Contact me for more info My home is located in Lecce; it has a touch of magic—everyone who steps inside says so. The light streaming in illuminates the entire living room and kitchen through its large windows. It features a terrace and a long balcony, you can host lunches and dinners both indoors and outdoors; no one watching you from afar. There are plants and flowers. The style is still evolving but features a few of my grandmother’s pieces here and there. The two bedrooms are also bright, and the two newly built bathrooms—one with a walk-in shower next to the two bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom featuring a toilet and sink. The entire house overlooks the Mediterranean scrub, and you can see the sea from the sleeping area. It remains quiet throughout the day; all you can hear is the chirping of birds and the rustling of trees in the wind. Unfortunately, the directions aren’t always up to date; just enter “Complesso Bernini, Via Vecchia Frigole 69, Palazzo M” into your GPS. Lecce: Just a stone’s throw from downtown—a 5-minute drive—you can also walk there or go for a run; there’s a trail designed for athletes and others alike. The apartment is located in a residential complex called “Complesso Bernini,” surrounded by greenery and peace. there’s a nearby park called Coni, where various recreational activities take place, and even closer is Officine Knos, worth exploring for its countless activities; the stadium for soccer fans is just 10 minutes away. Via Vecchia Frigole leads you to Piazza Mazzini, the heart of the city, which you can explore on foot or by bike. Just 5 minutes away is the little-known Frigole beach (on the Adriatic Sea), which has remained untouched—with its dunes, small harbor, and the Giammatteo River—a true oasis of peace. Here, depending on the winds, you might come across kitesurfers, windfoilers, or windsurfers—activities you’ll also find on other beaches, though again, it all depends on the wind. I’ll point you toward local spots like wineries, breweries, honey producers, souvenir shops, and places to try local foods. I’ll be waiting for you 🌊
