Christmas Eve At The Element

I have stayed at this hotel before and it was wonderful. This past stay there was a fire and explosion our first night...the staff handled this horrific event extremely well. Alternate accommodations and meals were provided. Thank you to all the staff.

Fantastic minimalistic room with every comfortable amenity. Great bed , shower and their complimentary breakfast is the best with fresh pancakes, blueberry muffins and a yogurt bar.

En general, este Hotel merece una buena evaluacion por nosotros pues, despues de nuestra tercera visita, todo fue muy adecuado a nuestras necesidades primarias, llamese habitacion, servicio al cliente y desayuno. A nuestra llegada fuimos recibidos como verdaderos huespedes, pero obviamente, en esta ocasion, estuvimos solo por una noche.

I look forward to my visits to Element Hanover. The staff is always welcoming and helpful. The shower is DIVINE - I have lived for 5 years in an old farmhouse, which is damp and cold. Element is my sanctuary from damp and cold. With Dartmouth College down the road, I often combine a movie or performance at the HOP with my stay. With a kitchen and fridge in every room, I save money by bringing my own food and/or buying take-out from the Coop next door.

Favorite hotel and I travel a lot.

I love this hotel. After the rat race of life. Element if a perfectly calming, zenlike experience. The lobby and decor is earthtones, sleek and modern with a lot of natural accents and sunlight. The hallways have interesting ceiling art with subtle lighting and every step you take toward your room removes just a little more stress. The rooms, like the lobby, are decorated with the same calming earthtones and have fridge, microwave and even dishes. The bathroom is large with modern design and lighting that flatters and a large shower with rain forest shower head and good hot water. There is a cockktail party with wine, beer, soft drinks and appetizers and they don't scrimp on the wine. Breakfast is almost as good as a bed and breakfast with plenty of options and eggs cooked for you and delivered to you along with a fruit and nut yogurt bar and their turnovers are plump with filling. Good wifi (I was there on business), good TV, and it was quiet. I can't speak for the pool as I didn't take a dip but it looked as clean and comfortable and well kept as the rest of the property. I travel a lot and wish I could find more Elements. When I leave, I feel like I've visited a restful spa and I think this it my favorite hotel I've stayed at. I could find an excuse to visit again. The only complaint I had was that I remember thinking as I fell asleep that the sheets were not as soft as mine at home. (I have a really comfortable bed).

I stayed four nights for Dathmouth college's orientation. I really like this hotel. Room was big enough for three of us. King bed room is separated from other space and over all clean. I like their gym, my husband and I worked out every night. They have water purifier on the kitchen sink, so you don't need to worry about drinking water. The little kitchen was really help to eat what we want to. Their staff including front desk and servers at the breakfast bar were really nice and helpful. I used the laundry room few times, next year I dont need to pack that many clothes. Not that far from Dartmouth college. The concerns were the room was not cleaned the day supposed to, also we needed to wait for 30 minutes to our room to be ready. But definitely I will go back next time for Dartmouth colleges family weekend. I already booked..

Element of surprise

The Element let my reserved room go. They did send me to another hotel and said they would pay for it. The other hotel was fine and nearby. The problem was the new hotel only had me for one night rather than the 2 I had reserved at the Element. I found that out the hard way, when my key wouldn't work in the lock. During the long wait to find/retrieve my belongings I had left in my room, I was assured "everything" is booked. I decided to go back to the Element and have them find a me a room somewhere, I was ready to camp in the lobby. After another hour a room miraculously opened up at the Element. During that wait I spoke with another person who's room had also been given away, but she at least was told her stay at the alternate hotel was only for one night. I took the room at Element but did worry about the next traveler who would not have his room... Rooms at the Element are nice; spacious, comfortable and well equipped... if you get them, and keep them.

like the modern vibe! Bededing was great! It was not cheap though! I feel that 160.$ for one night is very steep! Especially since we got in at like 2 am! I think they should have lowered our price! We literally were there 7 hrs!

Comfortable bed!

Great stay. Very Clean room, very comfortable bed, big shower. This didn’t matter much to me, but cleaning service to the room only mediocre: didn’t clean our room on day 2 until very late 6pm? Probably because I extended. Room didn’t have soap for the sink when we got there, and they couldn’t find complementary toothbrushes when requested. Not a big deal for us, but maybe others care.

Did not love the feeling of going to 1st floor rooms. Felt like a basement passing all the mechanical rooms. Once in the room, ceilings were high and comfortable. Also did not see any hand soap at sink?
