Très Bel établissement au calme ; grande piscine bien entretenue. Très bon accueil et cuisine soignée. Les petits déjeuners sont à recommander !

Excellent

L'hôtel se trouve dans un grand parc, avec une belle bâtisse qui sert de restaurant, une une annexe et une piscine. La chambre dans l'annexe est très belle, avec une terrasse mais il manque la bouilloire pour le thé ou le café. Le restaurant est excellent, le petit-déjeuner est divin (10/10). La piscine est géante pour un hôtel, orientée plein sud.

Teleurstellend verblijf

In het verleden heb ik enkel het hotel geboekt voor één nacht. Dit jaar had ik het hotel gereserveerd voor een vijftal dagen. Ik had tijdens ons verblijf de indruk dat ze ons liever zagen gaan dan komen. Op het warmste moment van de dag (tussen 12.30u en 14.00u) mag je geen gebruik maken van het zwembad. Ik vind het hotel te duur voor het aanbod (enige faciliteit is hetzwembad). Er was ook lekkend sanitair (WC en kraan). Het is de naam van hotel niet waard. Het is eerder een verdedeld motel met de intensie om zoveel mogelijk geld uit je zakken te halen. Het is zeker geen familiehotel. Tot nooit meer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay with our two children at La Cardinale. A beautiful property, very calm and relaxed with not too many rooms (thus guests), so it feels quite exclusive. We had the large pool to ourselves most days. The evening dinner is excellent, with a small but good wine list, and the husband & wife team that run the property are charming. We will return when next in the area.

Elegant luxury in a gorgeous setting!

Wow what a find! You go up a long gravel drive to the most glorious "villa" looking buildings. Our room was actually in an annex so it was modern yet tastefully done in the same style as the main buildings. The swimming pool was divine after a hot day on a bike - large, gorgeous setting overlooking the valley and a great hot tub. We got drinks to take up to the pool - heaven! The room was quite large, the bathroom clean and also large with a tub and shower and separate WC. Antiques were lovely. Bed was comfortable and all was clean. We had dinner there and it was spectacular - interesting flavors and not just typical French food. We dined outside by candlelight but watch out for the mosquitos. They were worth it because the setting was incredible. Great service by I'm assuming the owner.

Overnight stay heading south

A very enjoyable stay, the swimming pool is lovely & very large. The restaurant is excellent, the chef is very capable & imaginative. Front of house, speaks English & she is very friendly & charming. A very enjoyable overnight stay.

Excellent

L’Hôtel se trouve dans un parc magnifique, le chant des cigales vous accompagne et vous mets dans l’ambiance Provence. La piscine est exceptionnelle par sa grandeur et l’emplacement et la vue. L’accueil et les services sont très bons. Magnifique chambres avec petite terrasse et chaises longue. Le restaurant a une superbe terrasse et nous avons particulièrement apprécié le repas qui nous a fait voyager par ces saveurs. Notre petit chien a été également très bien reçu. Un grand merci à tous le personnel, nous avons passé un magnifique séjour chez vous !

A gem of a hotel in a secluded and serene location

If you blinked, you missed the entrance to this hotel. But if you were lucky to find it, you found a fantastic hotel run by the most wonderful owner/manager who certainly knows how to make a great cup of tea. Our room had a free-standing old-fashioned bath tub, together with a very modern separate shower. Very comfortable, very quiet, very nice. Thank you.

Lovely country inn close to main toads

La Cardinale is very low key located on several acres with pool and gardens. The chef is very talented and only the freshest local ingredients are used in his delicious cuisine.
