"The hotel is gorgeous and the staff is amazing! Dianna at the front desk was so warm and welcoming and Susana in the breakfast room made every morning sweeter- she is a delight. The only reason it wasn't five stars is because there is no air conditioning and unfortunately with the windows open the road noise starts early at 6:00 a.m.. If you don't come in the summer, then perhaps that is a non-issue. The location is fantastic (next to a mall and both Migros and Coop within 5min walk and you have access a few steps away to enter the lake which was glorious everyday. The pool is quite small but nice to have."

"Didn't initially realise that the property management is the same as that of the Royal Plaza (opposite) but didn't really cause much of an issue. We were still able to use the amenities at Royal Plaza. Villa Toscane itself wasn't manned but our room was really nice and clean. Staff overall were very helpful and we had a lovely stay. I would definitely recommend."

"The hotel was in a great location. Casino was across the street and many restaurants within walking distance. We found the front desk to be very helpful and friendly. If you can try to reserve the parking via the hotel. Other venues of parking are expensive. The hotel definitely has old world charm. I would stay there again when back in Montreux."

"Great location in the old city, especially if you enjoy hearing church bells! Adjacent bar/restaurant with terrace was good. Many dining choices within a short walk. Busses every few minutes to train station & other locations. Beautiful old building has been updated to modern standards — good mix of old & new. No air-conditioning, but OK with fan. Lovely breakfast with choice of indoor or outdoor seating. Nicely appointed room, with bidet, but the shower in the tub (room 117) was difficult for someone without good balance."
