"Great house for trip to Normandy on our motorcycles,has everything that you need, spacious and ideally located for visiting all the historic sites and memorials around Normandy "

"Stayed for one night as part of cycle trip with a group. Downstairs garage for Stephanie of bikes. Located around retail area which is not ideal for centre of Saint Malo. Good sized and comfortable. Bath in room was great after a day cycling. Breakfast a little over-priced. Helpful front desk."

"We had a fabulous holiday while staying at the Gite. Ideal base for touring this side of Normandy. Such a pretty and quite place to stay. Fantastic dark sky above the Gite. Was very warm and cosy inside. Valerie is the perfect host, warm and friendly. Perfect welcome drink of home made Calvados. Gorgeous garden and sun trap. Beautiful friendly dog next door. If you want peace and lots of beautiful towns and beaches. This Gite is ideal for any family. We will be back. "

"We had such wonderful stay here- there where 5of us and everyone had something that suited them. On arrival the host was extremely pleasant and whilst there was a language barrier we all managed to understand each other and she has leaflets to help. The ‘cottage’ itself was very spacious and beautifully decorated with a cosy rustic vibe that immediately had everyone starting to relax into the holiday. The space was well kept and clean. There was also a shared outdoor space which was great for my daughter as there were some other children there during our stay so she was able to play around with them in a safe space and there’s volleyball nets, trampolines etc plenty to entertain them. There was also a little boat that you could go on the pond with. The space at the front of the cottage had outdoor seating, sun loungers and a bbq. This was great for the evenings where we could sit at the bbq and chat with one another. The grounds are well maintained and lovely for a small walk in the mornings. Whilst it is out by itself (which aids in the peaceful quiet setting) you are not far from loads of different tourist attractions and grocery shopping by car. This place is perfect for anyone looking to get away from the rat race, reset and enjoy some peace. It is in a fab location where you can star gaze most evenings with a glass of wine. The pool is quite small if you had wanted to do lengths but it is a great size for a few people and or some small kids to keep an eye on them. 10/10"

"Ibis hotel was very cleaned the staff helpful however it is located in a commercial area not very close to shops however i will be gladly stay there again."

"A surprise gem, slightly older hotel so unsure when we arrived but the staff are wonderful and the location is great, walkable (20mins down the hill and back up) to the town. A really pleasant stay."

"Located in the center of Carentan across from the bahnhof, this hotel is easy to find. Parking is available in back or on the street. The room we stayed in #11, has no interior curtains. To have privacy, you close the outdoor shutters and lock them, the close the windows. No electric outlets in the bathroom or 2nd room where 2 single beds are located. Rooms are clean, bed was firm. "
