"Whilst the WI-Fi was very slow and the check-in receptionist made me sign, an agreement which, reads that taking food from a non hotel store or restaurant to the room is strictly forbidden (made me feel as if was being welcomed at boarding school. The food at the restaurant is good, unfortunately it’s served warm…. Despite that, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this lovely property."

Aethos Sardinia

"It is a nice hotel which is set up on a hillside which gives it a unique character and lovely views. The main pool felt a little cramped but was nice, the infinity pool was very relaxing but lacked a bar (it had one but they didn't open it) which made it less appealing to use. The sea deck was nice but you had to head across one road and up another back into the resort to use the toilets. The rooms look like they do in the pictures, but bathrooms were a little disappointing. They are rather small and the shower had no lights so was always dark. We were on a budget so went for the cheapest rooms, but the sea view looked amazing from the next room type up...so I would definitely suggest those, just ensure you are as high up the hillside as possible for maximum viewing. British here so I was a little surprised there was not tea making facilities but the lovely bar staff were only too happy to give me a pot at night. I guess the biggest issue I had was that I thought I was splurging on price compared to what I usually spend...as it was for my 40th, but for the price (and we got a bargain by comparison to their listed prices in summer) it did not feel all that special. It was nice and I had a lovely time, I just thought I was going to be a bougie so and so for the weekend pretending I had a yacht and it just didn't quite bring that extra bit of finesse I was hoping for. Nice place if you have the pennies to spend."

"Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms felt a bit dated, especially the bathroom, still comfortable though. Breakfast was basic, especially for gluten free, but disappointing as we’ve been elsewhere in Italy and had much better gf options, also the coffee was from a machine."

Grand Hotel Palau

"The hotel is very well situated in a quiet area of Palau and the sea view balcony rooms have an incredible view out over the marina and beyond. The room was nice, a shame that the door did not line up to see the view out. The air conditioning and bathroom were great, but there are no tea/coffee making facilities and the bed was not overly comfortable. Over a 4 night stay, there were 2 significant power cuts in the area, one of which went on for a few hours and made the room uncomfortable. The WiFi was absolutely awful throughout the entire stay."

"Amazing hotel overall just a great property, location is spot on to several beaches that are just breathtaking. Also you are minutes from downtown and the great dining areas there. Please keep in mind that the marina is also minutes away and you can rent a boat and hit the little islands and archipelagos. Overall 5 start property and location, the only downside is the dinner buffet charge it’s 50 euros per person a bit too much for what you get. Other than that again a great experience!!"

"The location was fabulous and the room was great. Recommend selecting a sea view room with a balcony, sunsets are amazing and having a place to relax any time of the day was essential. The breakfast was decent, many options to choose from, the staff is very attentive and the view is outstanding. Apertivs here should not be missed! It would be nice to have entertainment options that include wine & cheese tasting, mixology class or something similar to meet other guests. Elena at the reception was desk was super helpful and kind as was the incredibly friendly staff at the towel stand."

Domaine Santa Giulia Palace

"This is a great place for family vacation( we travelled with a years and a half year old and 5 year old).The property has a full kitchen, and a washing machine(it came with a cleaning starting kit-dishwasher pod, laundry detergent pod, dish soap and sponge) more laundry detergent pods can be purchased at the front desk. BEAUTIFUL pools, short walk from different beaches and great restaurants beachfront. The property is serene and stunning. Parking was included. Golf carts occasionally would take you from place to place! I wish our stay was longer and really hope to come back some day!"
