I’m a pescatarian so don’t eat meat so they are missing a trick with the Jamaican fayre as Mac & Cheese would have gone down well however great price and warm welcome and will come back again probably before the summer is finished.」

「You need sharp eyesight to see the hotel as it's right on the roundabout. It was perfectly placed for where we needed to be the next day. Parking was not a problem. The room was an odd shape and in need of new carpet. The doors are fire doors and they really did Bang shut every time someone came in our out of the coach house. The staff were Friendly and very helpful without being intrusive . The tables in the restaurant felt sticky which slightly puts you off although the meals were...

「歴史的な建物を利用したとても素敵なホテルでした。バスタブが室内にあり、シャワールームもありました。併設のパブには犬連れの人が多くいましたが、皆とてもフレンドリーで静かに美味しいビールを楽しめました。 すぐ近くにはお城の遺跡やビールの醸造所があります。 次の仕事のためにタクシーを手配してくれて助かりました。 小さなホテルの良さがギュッと詰まっています。またぜひ行きたくなるホテルでした。日本人にはイギリスのカントリーサイドを楽しむためにぜひ訪れてほしいです。 駅に近く、スーツケースを持っていても歩いていけます。」

「Situated in a lovely area of the Sussex Downs this small country pub provided ideal accommodation for our visit to Glyndbourne. Clean, simple but well appointed accommodation, with a good breakfast provided in the morning. Long Man Best Ale in cask available at the bar, which was a treat.」

「Couldn’t fault the people. The bathroom will need a refurb soon. The only hotel where I have stayed recently to find the soap dispenser doesn’t fall apart when depressed!」

「There actually was not a breakfast. However, the hotel includes a charming pub where we enjoyed an excellent pub lunch. As a whole we very much enjoyed the White Horse Inn. Our room seemed a little small and we shared a bathroom. We did find a restaurant within a short walking distance where we enjoyed breakfast. 」

「Very nice room with a queen sized bed. Clean and well presented and separate from the pub which meant it was quiet. Hottest day of the year highlighted lack of a/c or fan. Would have liked more power sockets to charge phones etc but overall good accommodation, suitable tea and coffee making and complementary biscuits. Breakfast was good, full English available buffet style. Nice pub and reasonable food for dinner. Great location for Bluebell Railway and Sheffield Park Gardens. Village...

「Overall a very good stay. Only 1 bath towel provided for the weekend for two people. Asked cleaning staff if they could put another toilet roll in room as running out, they did not.」

「We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Chestnut Tree. Lisa, the host was the main reason, she is a great communicator which is important when booking. She was so very helpful with local information and incredibly kind. Our room was beautiful and the amenities in the bathroom delightful. The area is beautiful but with only one night, we didn’t get the change to do much exploring. Next time. Thank you Lisa for a wonderful stay.」

「Too many notes telling you not to scratch things. It was nothing like as described on website. Spoon holding the window fastener, other windows held together with duck tape. . Felt damp in there so needed heat. Bedding wasn’t Egyptian cotton, bottom sheet was pea green. Tap just dribbled water out of wash basin. Lane and track down to property was terrible, full of holes. We didn’t stay for breakfast or to sleep there.」

「The bed was really uncomfortable, which was a surprise for a PI, as they pride themselves on the bed comfort. The bar was open late which was great. The parking is small, only 17 spots and you pay for this daily. 」

「I was supposed to get book in details by WhatsApp before 3pm Friday they didn't come. Eventually someone appeared at 3.15 in the lobby if you could call it that. A window in the inside front door had been broken and was never replaced. Got to the room it was supposed to be a double. Fair enough it had double bed and just enough room to walk around it. The bathroom stunk on stale water. Would I stay here again? NO 」
