"I stayed at Homewood Suites in North Bay for Labour Day weekend and like usual, the property is in the safest and best spot in the city. Located right near the waterfront with playgrounds for kids, basketball courts, and many local restaurants. I have been to this location a few times in the past and will always come back. I booked two rooms, they both were the Studio Suite with a King bed and a pullout couch. The one room was myself and my girlfriend and the others were family. The only comment I have about the one suite was the pullout couch wooden supports were marked as broken but we only found out about it until we pulled the couch cushions off, the staff never told us when we checked in, but no big deal, was still usable and was great for our family. The rooms were good, nice kitchenette, microwave, fridge and freezer. The bathrooms were in excellent condition, amazing water pressure from the showers. The only problem I had was with the placement of the TV and the couch. The TV was facing the wall adjacent, and the couch was on the other wall parallel to the TV. I had to move the whole TV stand/dresser combination. All in all, the rooms were nice and clean, plenty of towels, shampoos, extra pillows and a blanket. The hotel Wi-Fi was great upon check in. The staff were very helpful and friendly whenever we needed something, or even when it came to check in and out. I did not get to use the pool and the gym on site due to scheduling conflicts. Will be back again!"

"Staff at the front desk were very helpful and accomodating. We were able to get into our room early, which was very helpful and appreciated! Our only disappointment was the pool. It was extremely small and smelled of urine! My kids got in and immediately got out. Otherwise, our stay was perfect!"

"This hotel gives good value for the price, the beds are comfortable except for the pillows which need to be upgraded and maybe the comforters. The breakfast is adequate and the counter staff were very helpful and polite. The location is very good for getting around North Bay."

"Fantastic cottage. Host/owner was so lovely, responsive & kind. The home itself is exactly what you'd want for a big family getaway - water toys (canoe, kayak, SUPS), a fire pit, a huge kitchen with two (!) stoves, a fab pool table that was used every day, a bbq, tons of plates & cutlery, gadgets. We made a cake for my mom's 80th bday. Just perfect. It was clean and beautifully decorated. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, worth the four hour drive from and to Toronto. "
