Had an amazing time with my family at Harrah’s. It was our first time visiting and everything was better than expected. The hotel was amazing everything around us was close by the two pools, the beach, the arcade, food court, and the taxi boats. So easy to guide yourself through the hotel and around. Definitely will be going again we loved it.
Despite it being busy for the holiday the services were quick and staff was very friendly and attentive. The rooms were quite comfortable and clean. My som enjoyed the private beach, pool, arcade and even the water taxi. Would definitely recommend.

The executive room in the North tower was stunning. The price was incredible. The pool was awesome, the beach was refreshing!
We had a nice time. Beach was great. Restaurants were great too. Good for a nice little getaway. Great place for families with the beach, pools and arcade.
We definitely got what we paid for. The room was the room, the AC definitely needs work.
Some of the staff need some manners, there were some good people there but more than a few were rude. I will say the proximity to a lot of places were the main attraction for this particular hotel. The early check in and valet were A+
I would stay here again but it wouldn’t be my first choice I’d look elsewhere first and then if all else fails id book here.
This is not a five star hotel by any means, but it is super convenient because it has its own beach. If you want to enjoy the river without having to lug around your canopy, chairs, and barbecue, then this is the place. You can bring small folding chairs and a small personal ice chest with soft drinks to the beach. Casino is nice, and the restaurant selection is top-notch, including the Range Steakhouse which I would consider a five star restaurant in Laughlin. It is a little crowded during the summer because a lot of families but in the off-season it is definitely a little more peaceful. I have stayed here twice and would stay here again.
Staff was helpful, property lacked simple amenities like shampoo and conditioner. Pool was small, no bathrooms within the vicinity. You have to go back into the hotel to use the restrooms. Room was not cleaned properly before we arrived. Furniture and tv were dusty as if the room had been vacant for some time.
Our room was very nice. It was clean and spacious. However, our bathroom sink was clogged when we checked in. I requested service, and they unclogged the sink, but it only lasted one day. I had to request service for the bathroom sink the three days we stayed. The only other issue in the room was that there was no shower curtain or sliding glass doors. When you take a shower, the water falls on the tile floor, which makes it slippery and dangerous. I had to spread towels on the floor to avoid an accident.
Sadly it appears the “quality” aspect of this property has completely declined and neglected. I chose this resort specifically trusting the Harrahs to keep their high standards I’m used to. My room was never under 80 degrees. I asked the desk for help, was told there’d be a work order however nobody ever came to the room. The phone did not work so I had to go back and forth to the front desk which always only had one person attending it. The pool was just as sad.
I have been coming to the Harrah’s for years and each year the rooms seem to get worse despite saying “renovated” . The room was really dirty and all the drawers do not stay closed. The air conditioning kept going off. The private beach is always super clean and the reason why we always choose to stay here. Also if you’re booking a stay here I think there should be a discount towards jet ski rentals and canopy rentals, there is no reason why a canopy rental cost more than your 3-4 day stay for a few hours that’s ridiculous.
The nicest thing I can say about this property is that it has great potential. It is old and very tired. Upon entering the main lobby, the smell of cigarette smoke was so overwhelming it was obnoxious. Second, there were two people at the check-in desk and about 15 people in line. Finally, a third person from the back began checking people in. I requested an upgraded room and was charged $50/night for a "suite" with "river view". I am not being mean when I say the beds were the most uncomfortable we've ever experienced. The river view was a disappointment. I was never issued my Caesars rewards card and lost all my points for our room and dining. The restaurant selections were good and the waitstaff was very friendly and accommodating. The hallways are not air conditioned so by the time you get to your room - you need a shower. The gift shop selections were very disappointing, as well. The morning after we checked in, half the lobby was blocked off for some kind of construction. DOGS everywhere! We ended up losing money on our second night because we left a day early. We explained our situation and were not offered any kind of future discount or refund. Very disappointed, overall. Do better, Harrah's!
Although the room was basically clean, we’ve been coming to this resort for the better part of 10 years. We always enjoy as a family/friends group float down on the Colorado river. The main reason we stay at this resort is for the beach access as we love the water. Now that being said this property has gone downhill. The weight Staff is few and far between every time we’ve come to check in there has only been one to two people to help at the front desk. This last stay has been disappointing to say the least. The weight Staff seems to be annoyed and don’t really seem approachable.
We’ve stayed at the South Towers renovated side of the hotel. Although this was years ago, it already seemed like it wasn’t staying up to par. Wasn’t a big fan of the walk-in shower with no door to close off the air. Since those years I’ve gone back to the central tower. As the north towers elevators were horrendous trying to get into with all the people bogged down at the elevator. probably won’t be staying here again.
