Ok, first of all, I'd like to say that the VIP service Expedia promises here for rewards travellers is definitely not a thing. This was the worst of all the hotels I stayed at on my trip. The staff were not helpful, and generally seemed overwhelmed and overworked, like there was just not enough of them to deal with everyone's issues, and they didn't care much. Terrible experience at the restaurant. I was on vacation, and decided to treat myself to a glass of expensive, nice wine, a Cab Sauv that was $18 a glass. Much more than I usually spend on wine, but I wanted something nice to go with my dinner. First off, it took them 20 minutes to bring the wine to the table, and when they brought it, it was some awful cheap bottom shelf wine, not at all what I ordered. The glass was covered in water as well, with water dripping around the rim. I walked to the bar because I was tired of waiting for service and asked him what wine he had poured, knowing it was not what I'd ordered, and sure enough, when he showed me the bottle, he'd poured me the cheapest wine on the menu because it was open and tried to pass it off as the one I'd ordered. It's basically a scam to charge someone for one wine, and then pour them some cheap bottom shelf swill instead. At one point I asked the mgr as he was walking by if it bothered him that they'd done that. He apologized finally and offered to comp my wine, but then didn't, and it still ended up on my bill. An awful experience. Terrible restaurant.
