I had booked my room 2-3 weeks for a 3 day stay in advance and when arriving and check into my room, they gave me the wrong room. I had purchased a one King Bed suite and they gave me a two queen bedroom. When I came back down to let them know about the mistake, they had said there isn’t nothing they can do because all the one bedroom King bed were taken; to Hampton reward members and because I booked it with Expedia “third party” my room isn’t guaranteed. The front desk should’ve mentioned that prior to my arrival or even when I was getting checked in. The inconvenience and lack of communication is the reason why I’m rating the experience low. In conclusion, I had a small room with an extra bed for no reason. Although I wasn’t charged for the difference they still could’ve offered some sort of discount or complimentary stay for the inconvenience.
