Feb 10, 2019Saw turtle nesting here. Was fantastic. Saw 3 turtles...one building a nest but unfortunately she hit a rock and didn't lay her eggs. Also the lack of light pollution makes the night sky awe inspiring.

Oct 19, 2018If you have the energy, you will definitely want to take a water taxi at the end of Tamarindo beach across to the estuary. It was $1 across. It will take an hour and a half to walk to the end of all the other beaches along the park but it is very worth it. The sights were breath taking! We saw a family of howler monkeys and a crocodile on our own. Many beautiful sea shells and crabs to see on your journey. There was a black sand beach when we kept walking further. Amazing waves. It was a life changing experience!
