A comfortable fully equipped 2 bedroom one bathroom. Nestled next to the Las Baulas Marine park and the Tamirindo Estuary National Park and right in the Heart of Playa Grande . A ten minute walk to the beach and any of 10 fine dining establishments. The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place.Only a ten minute walk to the beach . And nestled next to the Parque Nacional Marina Las Baulas estuary . A plethora of monkeys , iguanas , green parrots and many more coastal animals often frequent the house . Extremely cozy and safe you will never want to leave .

Lots of space and great location for us, near a local restaurant serving authentic food. We loved the monkeys and dogs and having stores and food options within walking distance. The beach was beautiful and we enjoyed the sunsets. Hosts were generous and responsive—and right next door! Will definitely recommend and may return.

Amazing location and wonderful host!

Jacob (host) was phenomenal. Very responsive on whatsapp to all our questions before and during our stay. He gave us excellent recommendations for beaches (highly recommend Puerto Viejo/Playa Conchal, Playa Real, and Playa Flamingo) in addition to Playa Grande which is a 10 minute walk away. The house is basic, but excellent for sleeping and minimal cooking.As others have said, the road to the house is bumpy and steep, but it's totally fine to drive it with a regular sedan, just go slowly. I would definitely stay here again!

Good stay

Place was clean, well kept, and fun. However, it is not beachside as indicated and water availability was sporadic. Other than that, everything was great. Jacob is a nice guy and very helpful also.

10-minute walk to the beach

This is not a 5-star hotel and does not profess to be. We were comfortable. A couple items were well-used or not in prime condition, but still functioned. The property manager is very friendly and generous. The hill to go down to the property is quite steep at the top and there was frequently a vehicle parked there for the store, fyi.

Ridden with Bedbugs

I recently rented this place that was advertised as a clean and comfortable vacation home. However, upon arriving, I was extremely disappointed with the condition of the property. Not only was the place infested with bedbugs, but there were also ants in the coffee maker. The mattress was old, browned, and likely 20 years old. The towels had bits of dust in them when shaken, and the couch was covered in dust. But the worst part of the rental was the defunct road leading to the property. There was no lighting whatsoever, and low to the ground vehicles would have been severely damaged. I was lucky to not get lime disease, but the potential for illness was a constant worry during my stay. Overall, I would not recommend this property to anyone. It was wildly different from its listing and the condition of the property was extremely concerning. It was a huge disappointment for the time and money. Jacob wasn’t understanding or accommodating about the situation and was not willing to issue a refund despite the traumatic experience.

We liked this place

Ita a rough road off the pavement but our 2 wheel drive handled it no problem. Great restaurant and a little store 3 min walk away. Loved the nice outside covered patio with comfortable couches, if it rains no big deal. Great TV and cable for NFL viewing, walking distance to A WONDERFUL beach. Jacob is a awesome host.. We would stay here again.
