"Very authentic chateau experience. The host Pascal so welcoming and helping us book restaurants, wine tours and more. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay and everything he recommended us to do with kids was a huge success! The chateau looks amazing. Recently renovated, but still furnished with authentic furniture. We will go back to chateau Senejac for sure. Did I forget to mention that they produce an amazing wine? Great place to stay."

"2 nights stay and although we booked b&b we were able to book dinner on the evening we arrived. The hosts were charming and made us feel very welcome. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and accessible, even on the first floor via a very narrow staircase. As 80 year olds we were cautious on the stairs but no problems. The breakfast was fine and sufficient. The location was perfect for us. We were able to visit the chateaux of the Listrac and also Pauillac very easily."

"Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and well maintained. The set-up in the junior suite we had was too quirkly for me; the "bathroom" was all flash and no splash with the super sized tub not being totally functional and just awkward. Apparantly, each room is unique so can't predict what set-up you'll end up with and the Expedia description did not match what we received. Couldn't really call this a "Spa hotel" -- sauna and steam room wasn't on, water in splash pool wasn't clear and smelled musty and I kept stepping on piles of stones or rope (?); only 2 chaisse loungers at pool else you are sitting in the restaurant. Air conditioner worked well."

"Excellent family room, kids loved the bunkbeds but the lower one did get hot as it faced the window and far from the air con. Cool room with great views of the station if you're a trainspotter which our son is. Sensible to have amenities like coffee machine and ironing board shared in the hall as these are barely used, which frees up space in the room. Slightly style over substance as there are records and CD's in the room for decoration (nothing to play them on) taking up space needed for putting our stuff on. But it was cool and a fun layout. The pool is small and surrounding sun loungers are prone to getting splashed with water as it's quite cramped but amazing to fit it all there and have a rooftop space and bar. Location is 20 min walk from downtown for dinner etc, but a short bus or tram ride away so easy to get to and the tram ride has good views along the river. Breakfast was great quality and varied, although it was quiet when we stayed so some items had been out for a while and not served at their best."

"Great room with self catering facilities in a part of town that makes it easy to access all that beautiful Bordeaux has to offer. I would recommend getting a ground floor or accessible room as these have some outdoor space where you have your own table and chairs. We only had breakfast on one occasion but it was good value"

"The room was very clean. However, the patio was not clean. The staff when we check in was wonderful. Parking was very easy. The location was very easy to access to shops, groceries, etc. The view to the lake is beautiful . Highly recommend to this place."
