"Room and resort, clean and well maintained. Our room did not have ocean or beach view. We were offered an upgrade for extra $ but we declined. We spent very little time in the room. Beach was beautiful. Snorkeling with turtles right at the beach. Pool clean and pretty. One hot tub, was small for the size of resort. Staff were all very helpful. "
"Partial ocen view is good from tower. Rooms are dated, could use upgrades. Staff is excellent. Grounds & beach superb. $40 daily parking fee is to be considered if you rent a car"
"Room was outdated, but had a nice view & that’s it. Paid over the top for the two nights stay, but was aware this is just Hawaii prices. Then on check in they wanted me to sign that I agree to pay an extra excessive US amount as a once off fee to clean the room on departure, plus parking per night. I refused to sign the cleaning fee & advised the lady that no where on my booking was I advised about an additional fee. Lucky the lady checking us in was nice & due to air con not working waved the fee. BEWARE when booking this hotel of extra charges. Have provided my feedback to Hotels.com, so hopefully they follow up on extra charges not stated in booking. "
"Reached out with a medical issue and that we could not make it anymore / didn’t even get a response from them and they kept our money. Filing a dispute with our credit card company… terrible management "
"We got a nice ocean view room #604 on the inside corner of the 12 story Ohana tower, with 2 picture windows of the mountains to the east and view over the pool to the south & ocean to the S & W. It gave us the feel of a sweeping wide angle over hills and ocean - nice! A higher floor would have been even better as the 3 towers just to the south cut a chunk out of the ocean view. The facility is currently renovating the lobby area and we heard they plan to renovate all the rooms too. We found the 850 sf one bedroom, w/ balcony, large adjoining bath, living & kitchen area to be very spacious and a real bargain! With the planned renovations it will probably be more pricey, but should be very nice! The location was great, about 10 min walk to Duke's and easy drive/Uber down to Whalers Village or up to Kapalua area. The pool was large and all the hot tubs were wonderful! The restaurant is small, take out based, except for the breakfast buffet, but the bar was also right there by the pool so very convenient if you don't want to go out! All in all a great value for the entire package! "
"Spotless room. Excellent and friendly staff! Great breakfasts! Couple issues: bathroom under lighting went off and on ALL NIGHT. We finally unplugged the light. Couldn’t get out of the self park twice. Had to park and go to the lobby. A bit frustrating. Pool service very slow generally poor service."
