"Lovely location and great beer garden. Beds were comfortable and clean. The main issue in the bedroom was the very low water pressure in the shower making it almost impossible to have a decent shower. The other issue was the slow service in the restaurant. It was busy when we first arrived so that was fair enough but even when it died down it was still very slow and we could see our drinks waiting at the bar but no one to bring them over until we asked. "Lovely pub and rooms in the centre of Hexham. Host / landlord was super helpful. Rooms were very clean & well appointed- eg lots of power sockets etc. Would highly recommend and would stay again."
