We had incredible consideration given to us by providing us with blankets for our trip to see outdoor evening performance of Kynren. Breakfast was a gorgeous plentiful full English. 「A very clean and comfortable place. The rooms were very nice and the beds quite comfortable. The bathrooms were up to date and there was plenty of hot water. The pub next door was very hand for a drink and breakfast in the morning. Very friendly staff. 」
「The place is an ancient inn in a wonderful spot of the countryside. Perfect for trips along Hadrian's wall or nice walks in the fields. No restaurants in the area except the inn's one, where it's possibile to eat until 8.30 pm. Excellent beer until late.
The toilet area is really tiny, but the rooms are lovely.」
「Ian and Kate were spot on and just what we needed after a day of hiking and exploring. Friendly and approachable but gave us our space. Helpful with dinner ideas. They cooked a delicious made to order breakfast that left nothing to be desired. Highly recommend!」
「Medi, the chef, and his wife, Daniella, run the Inn and gave us both a warm, friendly welcome. The room was tidy and clean and we both had good night's sleeps even though the room was above the pub..I recommend Medi's Eggs Benedict which was fantastic and he also catered in the evening with great home made food - I had the best fish and chips I've had for many a year..I'd recommend the Sunday roast too which was awesome and over generous...and reasonably priced...
