"I spent a week at Jan Kok while on a birding holiday. The property is safe, quiet, and perfect for those looking for privacy and seclusion. This is a great choice for birders, as the property has lots of plants and resident birds, and it's only a 10-minute walk to the nearby salina, where flamingos and other waterbirds abound. A car is absolutely necessary, but there's a grocery store and restaurants within a 10-minute drive. The lodges are very clean and stocked with all the basic kitchen tools, but bring your own soap, shampoo, and coffee or tea. Highly recommended for independent travelers who want to avoid the noise and bustle of resorts."

"Brand new and modern-looking property. Incredible sunsets. Modern and well equipped kitchen, BBQ, plenty of space for 8 people in 4 bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom. The 5th bedroom is on a lower level, and has no windows in the actual bedroom (but an adjacent mini-kitchen and sitting area instead).Unlike most villas in Curacao and even in Coral Reef resort, it's literally 5-7 minutes walk to the resort with beach, bars, restaurants, dive shop, spa etc.Loved it. Would stay again!"
