"Sandy our host was very friendly, polite and on the ball. Breakfast was excellent with a nice variety plus our breakfast times varied with the activities we had planned and Sandy was very accommodating. House was clean and well kept. Beds were comfortable"

"Had a wonderful time. 1st time staying on a house boat. It was unique experience. Everyone was so friendly, facilities were all neat and clean and Kelly at the store/office was terrific. "This is almost the favorite place I have ever stayed at. The owner was very helpful. I was so comfortable and peaceful. All the details made the house so very special. Just all the special little touches down tothe doilies. The diverse library, the sunroom, the screened in room. The yard was so beautiful with all the hostas and old growth trees. I hope to come back again."

"Very clean and spacious apartment in the center of downtown Elizabeth. Wr had a lovely time The only challenge was intermittent internet access which made streaming movies/tv and phone usage a challenge. Recommended if you want to unplug!"

"This place was so nice stayed for two nights kids begged for a 3rd. Saw turtles,beavers, muskrats. Both kids caught their first fish ever right off the dock. Definite core memories. Beds/bedding were comfy and clean. Beach around the corner. If you need there are public swimming pools near. We went to mt carrol public pool and it was perfect. Have already booked stay for next year!! Thank you!"

"This was the perfect place to stay in Freeport! It was beautiful and was so clean that it felt like we were the first to stay there. It had everything we needed and SO much room, which was great as we were staying with a toddler. There is a family living above, which you could occasionally hear during the day, but it didn’t bother us at all! We would stay here again in a heartbeat and likely will next time we visit family!"

Great stay but invest in some pillows!
"Check in was fantastic. When we got to the room we noticed the toilet seat was broke but still useable so we didn’t complain. We had dinner at the restaurant attached and the food was absolutely amazing. Upon going back to the room, which we had a king size bed, we noticed that the pillows, although very neatly placed were no bigger than the throw pillows on my couch at home. My only suggestion would be to please invest in some actual bed pillows as there is a Walmart right next door. For a king size room we thought it would have king size pillows. That’s the only complaint we had. Upon checking out I did inform the young lady and she was very apologetic and shocked that I didn’t complain about the toilet seat sooner, but like I said it was useable. "
