"The villa is amazing. All amenities included, except WiFi. There is an odd request for £50 for this after we booked. The WiFi doesn’t reach upstairs. The pool and gardens are regularly maintained and are beautiful. The view is stunning. It’s an out of the way location, so peaceful but you need a car. Many beaches a short drive away. The villa is well managed and any requests were dealt with immediately. Definitely recommend a stay here for a peaceful holiday."

"My husband & I and two other couples stayed at Penelope Home for 5 nights. The home is located about halfway between the 2 airports on Crete. (About an hour each direction) We liked the central location and enjoyed hikes, caves, the beach and other activities. The suggestions for restaurants and bakeries by our host were spot on. "Beautiful and clean with all the amenities. The pool and design is sleek and an amazing area to spend your days. The beach is a private direct access! This is special for this area because many of the resorts are separated by a street. We stayed in a basic room and it was still lovely. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were so KIND! You can walk from the resort to the city easily or there are also public buses. We didn’t do the included dinner and I ended up loving this decision as it allowed us to enjoy our days at the resort and explore a bit to new restaurants in the evening. WOULD RECOMMEND!!"
