"Megris country houses are located in Magganos, in the olive trees countryside few kilometers east of Pounta and Pavlopetri. The structure has a private parking and the rooms are fantastic, with a beautiful view of the sea across the olive trees. The very Greek hospitality of Gyorgia (with super Greek breakfast) and her nice husband will make unforgettable the staying. If you travel by car or motorcycle this is the best solution to visit this area of Lakonia. Be ready to feel nostalgia. "

Village has not much to offer (no shops, no restaurants). 25 minutes to beach and to Monemvasia, 10 minutes to nearest (very good) restaurant. Winds can get very strong, as we experienced. "The Akrotiri Hotel was really good, so much so that we stayed longer than planned. The host Timus was very accommodating explaining that the breakfast was €7 extra per person despite the booking site stating that it was free but the receipt was ambiguous in that respect. The who are was very clean and tidy with fantastic beaches that we had largely to ourselves given it was still early in the season with clean public toilets at most beaches and towns. "This is a nice property in Monemvasia but we did experience a few problems. The electricity went out multiple times and we were initially asked to work around their schedule for check-in time. Communication with the management was unpleasant and some untruths were told by them. Not sure whether this was an isolated event or a pattern. Perhaps others will have a better experience than we did. Nice looking property though."
