「Unexpected location - no dinner that night but we enjoyed the 1 night stay」

「We stayed 1 night, we were passing through (off season). Few guests, all quiet, morning breakfast alright, price was fair. Shower and restrooms adequate with soap and plenty of hot water, towels provided in good condition. The only issue i had was that this lodge was very far from the road, up a gravel road with no guard rails at all. Either it was not disclosed or i didnt find it on the website. Very scary getting up to the lodge after sunset, in the dark, dodging rabbits left and right.」

「Great location. Kind host. No thrills but everything that you need in a good room.」

「It was cold in the bedrooms and the showers were only Luke warm Reasonable cost Very relaxed」

「We loved the location, the views, and the double glazing. It stayed nice and warm during a wild storm. The deck was awesome. The library of books and magazines fascinating, and lots of board games and cards. However it is lacking a level of cleanliness in the kitchen. There was food left in the oven, dirty tea towels left behind, and the washing up gear and cleaning cloths need to be updated. Small things but good to have.」

「Great communication, peaceful」
