Matteo the manager of the apartments is so knowledgeable and friendly that you can't help but be inspired to visit some the many varied and beautiful places he speaks of so passionately. Apartment is inexpensive and a great place to stay. It is simple and clean and has everything you need. It is good value for money. Parking on site is an asset too. We intend to go back next year. "

"Travelling from Milan Malpensa airport by train to Baveno it couldn’t have been easier to get to Hotel Elvezia, just a five minute walk away. A friendly welcome and drop off of our bags in our lovely, clean room and it was off to get our bearings in Baveno. The lake itself is only 150 metres away, with restaurants, bars, shops etc on the front by the main boat ferries and bus stops. "Our family of four (including two large teenagers) shared a quadruple room for two nights. While the room was small and basic and the breakfast was ample but simple, the value was outstanding. The room was clean with a lovely view from the balcony and the location is outstanding. The staff were also very friendly and helpful."
