The owners are wonderful. The Happy Chef is the sweetest most genuine woman. The rooms are rustic no frills and clearly they are trying to renovate and improve. I sincerely hope they get the customers to make it.

HIGHLANDS CASTLE overlooking Lake George.. plus 2 other Castles!
We loved our visit here. John and Yvonne were wonderful. The space was clean, quiet, and truly magical. The views were second to none and the castle and other buildings are truly worth experiencing. We loved learning about the history of this place and we will certainly be back.

Lodge at Schroon Lake
This place was absolutely gorgeous in the winter. I can only imagine how wonderful it would be to vacation there with my family in the summer. And they were so nice. Everything you could possibly want for a lodge and then some.
