「The house was a bit old-fashioned, but spacious. There were issues with cleanliness and attention to detail, and the apparent lack of effort and investment was quite a disappointment. If the house were better cared for, and if some effort were put into a couple of improvements, it could’ve been a comfortable stay, but cleanliness and attention to basic necessities should be met at minimum for a place that you’ll be sleeping or showering.」

「The house was great. Has everything you can ever need including spices, pans, and all the works. Beds are a little bit on the firm side but good enough to sleep comfortably. 」

「We very much enjoyed our stay at the cottage. There are some very good restaurants nearby and it is close to the Castleton campus. We also enjoyed some snowshoeing and mountain biking at Slate Valley Trails. 」

「This is our second stay with Leslie. She is very responsive! We loved our stay in this wonderful little cottage. It was rustic, to be sure, but exactly how we like it. It is very comfortable and if issues pop-up, Leslie I responding in minutes. The bed is very comfortable and the space is just right for 2-3 people. The kitchen has all that we needed. We will hope for a return to this wonderful little cabin! 」
