「Everything about the hotel was great except the apple and orange juices they had for breakfast (both very watery) but the excellent waffles made up for it…I would definitely recommend the hotel」

「Howard Johnson goes back a long time. Always like the old world charm of the 50’s and 60’s styling. Only one small quirk was my shower knob did not work and it was broken. Fortunately it was stuck on a reasonable temperature to shower and used it as that. Breakfast was quite meager, very small lounge and limited food choices. But I assume it’s because of the limited space that had there. Overall it was alright and would go there again since my beach location in Clearwater was all but overbooked....

「I was unaware of the stairs to get to the rooms. I was given a room on the 2nd floor and there was no elevator to use to bring all of my luggage. The night before checkout, I called the front desk to ask if an Uber would be able to pick me up at 4:30 am and would be allowed onto the premises. I was told that I should have the pickup be the clubhouse and I could have a tram arranged to pick me up at 4:00 am. When I called at 4:00 am on the morning of checkout, I was told that the tram drivers...

「The property was extremely clean and the managers were very kind and helpful.」

「We enjoy staying on weekdays, very quiet then. Go fishing and enjoy their breakfast. We have stayed there several times and same people still working there. Close to the beaches, we go watch the sunset. Close to shopping and amazing Great Restaurants.」

「Staff was great. I made a mistake in my booking and they accommodated me. This is not a fancy place, but it is clean, and rooms are cleaned every day. My room had a coffee maker, microwave and small fridge.」

「The staff was short and when I tried to check out, the guy just stood in front of me and played on his phone, then answered his cell phone using his ai glasses and proceeded to ignore me until I said, should I just leave the keys here? Then he decided to help me check out! He was apparently the manager on duty so this is extremely sad! The room was dingy, the door to the bathroom was falling apart and our feet were black just walking from shower to the bed to get dressed! It was gross!!! 」

「Location, location, location. Staff is very pleasant and accommodating. Rooms just need some updating but it does reflect the cost. Very pleasant experience and would recommend.」

「It was a very clean hotel. The rooms are large. There is only one chair in each room which was strange to me since the rooms are so large and I would think it’s common to have 2 people staying in a room. Since we were Expedia customers they were less flexible about a late check out or early check out and our room was just off lobby so was loud at times. They have laundry which is awesome. Overall our stay was pleasant. The manager was very nice.」

「Pretty clean. Very comfortable beds. I would stay here again. Breakfast was avaege generic hotel food. We had a small leak in our AC unit and management wasn't worried about it. We didn't use the pool. Felt safe.」
