The area had some basic amenities while also being surrounded by natural beauty. I was glad for driving the extra 25 minutes to avoid larger cities and chain hotels. "Stayed for a Father’s Day weekend with a buddy to fly fish. The cabin was perfect, as was the location. The property makes it seem as if you’re in a remote location, but it’s a 3 minute drive into town. The land itself is beautiful, and really well kept. As for the cabin, it was perfect. Clean, comfortable and with everything you’d need. Its location to the river system was great, and we couldn’t have asked for more.."

"My husband and I hosted our family and friends for a large celebration, and this was the perfect location to do so. The large kitchen and dining room were ideal for our purposes, and the outdoor amenities were amazing once the weather cooperated. The location feels remote, although it is 10 minutes from downtown Honesdale, a grocery store and liquor/beer stores. We had pretty much all the amenities we needed for hosting, and we liked that the property was so child-friendly. Many of our guests commented on how much they liked the property, and we would definitely use it again for hosting a large group. The only downside was the spotty wifi and cell phone reception, but that's to be expected in a rural location, and a landline phone is provided."
