We really enjoyed Rosa Montes. It is a bit out of the way but that was part of a charm. It's an absolutely gorgeous home with beautiful tiles and a lot of character. The pool and garden area were really nice. The power points had modern USB attachments so we were finally able to charge things (as opposed to just about everywhere else we stayed!). The welcome was lovely and helpful and the nearby town of Luz has a beautiful beach and a great selection of bars and restaurants. We would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Rosa Montes! The late check-in was very easy and convenient, the rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. A special thank you to Svitlana, who was incredibly kind and helpful and truly went out of her way to make our anniversary special. We really appreciated her thoughtful hospitality. Highly recommended! ❤️

Rooms were clean but the property can use some renovation. The bathroom faucet was shaking. The hot water will come and go. The room is big. It’s a cute place with parking and the pool is nice. The staff at reception was great. The breakfast is good too. The staff attending breakfast can be more pleasant

A very pleasant little hotel with a good pool and excellent breakfast. The location is a bit remote, which means you need a car to access the coast and any restaurants. There are no bars, cafes or restaurants anywhere within walking distance, and the hotel doesn’t offer items such as refrigerated drinks, ice cream or food for sale. There was a fridge in the room though so BYO

Beautiful property! A bit out of the way. If I returned would stay in Luz. No desk person was ever there except for check in. Always felt safe. Parking was great. The breakfast staff was wonderful and so was the breakfast. In your room there is a notice about not eating in your room as it would attract ants. I found this annoying and thought unrealistic on their part. Who doesn’t eat or have snacks when away in their room? A worker sealed and sprayed the room opposite to us when we were there. We never saw ants but if you lounge by pool and eat breakfast there is a lot of pesky flies. Maybe because they are in the country?? While we were at the beach or in town we never encountered this! We enjoyed our stay but would not come back.
