"We absolutely loved it here. The views are breathtaking. When we checked in we were greeted so kindly. She helped us book breakfast for the morning, made us supper reservations, and even booked a boat tour for the next day to see the caves. It made this trip so much easier with all of the help and it was greatly appreciated. We loved our breakfast each morning. Such a nice option to eat on our own private balcony in the sunshine. The room was great, bed was comfortable and the entire hotel was clean and well kept. We will definitely stay here again when back in Portugal. "

"Location was lovely, you definitely need a couple of days here. We came in at night and left at checkout (11am). Didn’t get to enjoy any ammenities. The beach at the bottom of the cliff is lovely. "

"They say that they have air conditioning, but it’s not working properly. We have to open the doors to the balcony to get some fresh air. They were very late in cleaning the room."

"Location of the hotel is perfect, right on the main square and steps from the beach. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was excellent, with a lot of choice and always fresh. Our room was on the ground floor and faced onto the street with several bars opposite and as such we did get a fair amount of noise (can imagine this to be even worse during the peak months). Whilst the room was spacious it was definitely dated and the extras and little touches left abit to be desired, tea and coffee facilities, great, but plastic cups and a wooden stirer?? Not so great. There was a safe in the room which was handy but it wasn’t attached to anything and could just be lifted out and removed! Rooms were spotless & cleaned daily with fresh towels provided. We used the pool area and also the sky bar which was a lovely spot (shame there was no local lager on tap though). All in all we had a good stay & would stay again, which I always think is the most important part of any review."

"Lovely hotel, indoor pool too cold to use, outside obviously too cold! No staff available at pool etc amenities. Found a member of staff who told us towels were available at reception for a deposit. Didn’t bother because of above reasons. Breakfast and staff excellent ….."

"Great place to stay, relax and enjoy the village.very clean room, staff very attentive. Well equipped gym. Handy to have a convenience store on site especially the fresh croissants every morning. Would have rated excellent except we did not have any water for 24 hours. Would def8nitely return to this resort."

"This is an older hotel but was clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. The 9euro breakfast was excellent I would stay here again if I'm in the area."
