St. George Inn & Suites

8/10 Good

"Breakfast was okay, not great but a good deal for cost of the room. I'd suggest a wider selection on the eggs (scrambled in addition to the mini omelette rounds), some bacon and linked sausage in addition to the patties. I'd also suggest adding more juice options or using slightly bigger juice cups (only options on juice were Orange Juice and apple juice with some very small Styrofoam cups). Staff was friendly and willing to help, not that I had to ask. I was in town for a funeral, so I had family for directions. Only maintenance Issue I found, the A/C unit filters hadn't been cleaned in a while so it was having a hard time keeping the room temperature tolerable. Once cleaned the A/C worked great. Other than the A/C filters, the room was spotless. Room had a smart TV with Netflix. If you use the Netflix, it has an automatic sign out or reset after about a day, so if you're staying more than one night you'll have to sign in more than once."

"Well, it was inexpensive. The hotel is a bit out of the main town but is on the route to Zion NP. The hotel is a bit rundown and in need of TLC. Our room was comfortable, came with a microwave and mini-refrigerator. However, it was noisy with cars zooming past and thin walls which let us hear our loud neighboring room guests. The buffet breakfast was fine. I don't recommend this hotel and would spend a bit more if I were to visit this area again. BTW, Zion NP was great with lots to do and see."

"The room and location were great. But, our overall experience was: 1) the toilet clogged, 2) no one explained the gray master switch in the room so we called for help and then it was finally explained after the maid turned it off, 3) we stayed 2 nights and the second day the maid came in & made the bed without a draw sheet. In addition, when we left for the second day there were several towels of all sizes in the bathroom. When we returned the second day all towels of all sizes were removed but one of each. We were afraid to complain again, 4) the workmen in the building were using one of the luggage carriers for their personal use. Is this really Hyatt standards???"

"This is a pretty new and well maintained property which has a super convenient location. The staff was helpful, there was plenty of parking available and good breakfast options. The only problem I ran into was that I didn’t realize how far was it from Zion national park’s entrance- I probably didn’t pay attention to or may be how it was advertised. But that doesn’t count towards the hotel or property itself. We had a wonderful 2 nights stay."

"I’m normally not the type to complain, but this hotel was rough. It looks updated, but the room smelled moldy and the beds were super uncomfortable. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The front desk was rude, but housekeeping was the only good part, the guy tried everything to fix the smell, but it was impossible."
