"Renata could not have been a better host. She made dinner reservations for us on our first night, drove us to the boat docks to visit Cinque Terre on the second morning and picked up a pizza for us on the second night. What a nice person!Her home was clean and exactly what we saw online. It is in a family neighborhood, not a tourist area. There was a 15 minute walk to and from the train station and we walked it once and took a cab the other time. The cab was 18 euros. If we ever return to La Spezia we would not hesitate to stay at Renata's property again.John"

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in La Spezia! The location is excellent, right in the city centre with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. It is also close to the beautiful waterfront, and the train station is about a 15-minute walk away. There is also a bus stop nearby, making it convenient to get around. The hotel is clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff were very attentive and proactive in messaging me before arrival, providing clear instructions on how to access the hotel and explaining the available amenities. Their helpful communication made our arrival smooth and stress-free. The breakfast was another highlight, with generous portions and plenty of food provided. We especially appreciated that we could take away any food we couldn't finish, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the convenient location, comfortable accommodation, attentive staff, and generous breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting La Spezia!"

"I enjoyed my stay here. Don’t be put off by having to check in somewhere else, it’s literally 2 doors over! Felt secure because there were three locked doors to get through. 10-15 walk from the railway station, just off the main shopping street. Lots of eating options minutes from the front door. I had a fridge in my room but there was also a kitchen you could use if you wanted, and an outside patio. Would stay again!"

"The room itself was clean, specious and was easy to get access. Overhead shower head in the bathroom had some nozzles plugged so water did not come out properly. Used the wand instead Even though the Expedia details lists that parking is available, it is through third party parking lot vendors. Was a little challenging in finding a parking spot when we arrived as it was later in the evening (8pm) Was able to find street parking for the night but had to then figure out parking in the morning. Had we known about this prior to arriving we could have had this figured out by the time we arrived instead of taking time in the morning The stairway of the building did not have motion sensor lights that came on automatically when walking up the stairs. Walking up in total darkness was a little unnerving when we arrived. Good thing for cell phones! Turns out there are wall lights on each floor you could press and it would turn the lights on for 5 minutes. All in all a good experience. Just could have used a little more details to make the experience perfect."

"Had a really lovely stay here. It's close to several restaurants and the harbour and has several bus options in the vicinity too. It's a self-check-in stay so there isn't much interaction with any staff upon check in. However, they sent all the relevant information well before I arrived. It is a little noisy if that bothers anyone, but it wasnt an issue for me at all."
