Peaceful and quiet retreat

Quiet, clean and comfortable

Lovely hacienda style property, complete with a turtle pond! Wish the veranda faced the sea but we did have a view from small window in room (#4). Host was kind and helpful. Coffee and continental breakfast supplied in shared kitchen.

December Visit

We had a great stay before Christmas as we travelled around the East Cape area. The room was perfect and very clean and quiet. The courtyard as others have said is amazing. The location is very close to many resturants and the beautiful beaches. Jason and his helpers were very nice and wonderful hosts. We only wish we had stayed longer than two days. We will be back again for sure for a longer visit!!

One night stay

We really liked the courtyard and friendliness in the morning kitchen. The room was adequate. Only bad thing was the sewer smell in the bathroom. The toilet gurgled several times during our stay.

Three nights

We spend three nights at Jason his place. Great location to visit Baja Pulmo to snorkel and scuba. We enjoyed the causal hospitality, good coffee in the morning and relax vibe. Keep going Jason (and father), good luck and thanks. Saludos Pieter

Friendly and casual beach time

We really enjoyed the garden and the jacuzzi was a special bonus. Jason was a very friendly host with great local info and directions. We really appreciated the use of beach towels, beach chairs and a cooler. Go to the beach Jason recommends and you won’t go wrong. The shower head in room 4 needs to be changed - the water goes everywhere except on your body. The pillows are also really tired and lumpy. It would be nice just to have a couple of small glass or hard plastic tumblers in the room and a bottle opener.

Absolutely wonderful place... beautiful garden and patio. We enjoyed spey time there and meeting friendly and interesting people from all over. The room was great, nicely furnished and comfortable. Jason , our host was very welcoming. Loved Hacienda de Palmas and highly recommend!

Pros: nice host and a great jumping off point for Cabo Pulmo. In room mini fridge and AC. Fruit, coffee and cereal for breakfast and we were able to use the kitchen to prep a bit of food for a picnic. Staff was friendly and gave us some good tips on places to check out. Cons: some of our linens weren’t clean at check in, they were switched out once we emailed the owner. Our shower had some broken tiles in the floor which were a bit dicey. Overall, reasonable for the price but no frills here.

Great hotel for a stop

Nice bedroom, owners are nice and welcoming, near to Cabo pulmo so great for 1 night. There is nothing to do in la Ribera so don’t stay to much. Breakfast a little light.

Great place, great crew

Friendly place, clean and easy to access. Loved the public courtyard where you could hang and catch up on email with a nice cup of coffee. Thanks for helping with the ATV rental, can't recommend riding those beaches enough.
