"The description of the condo was very misleading , it gave the impression that the condo was beachfront but instead it is street front about 15m from the main road (very noisy) over looking the parking lot .The description showed a photo of what I thought was the condo but actually was of the building itself. "We visited the DR after many trips to Cancun and Isla Mujeres. Originally were booked at a hotel in Sosua, which was unfortunately at the time not as advertised online, so we made the decision to check out and find something else last minute. "The location itself was very nice and enjoyable, but the hospitality could definitely be improved. On several occasions when we asked for assistance, the staff seemed indifferent and unhelpful. When we requested a change of bedsheets due to visible stains, they gave a a hard time we experienced a long delay before anything was done. This unfortunately took away from what could have been a much better overall experience."

"Loved our stay, the team is really thoughtful and supportive. I was there for the Boston Marathon and they prepped a soup and food stand for the afternoon which was appreciated. Also the breakfast is super complete with great local ingredients and brands! healthy. The room was perfect!"

"Stayed for 6 nights, no hot water. After talking to the desk the 2nd morning they said they would send a guy right up but I had to be there in the room for him. After a half hour he showed up, sat on the toilet with the water running for 20 minutes texting and talking on his phone. after that he said he had to check a machine, I waited another half hour and when he did not come back I went to the front desk. They said that the whole resort was having hot water problems, I explained that I didn't appreciate babysitting their plumber for one and a half hours when it was a resort wide problem, I could have been on the beach enjoying myself instead of sitting in my room. The place is definitely outdated and the shower drain ( cold water ) was partially plugged so you could only run it for a short time before it started to overflow on the floor. The staff were OK trying their best with what they have but if you don't get up at 6 AM and mark your spot there is not a lot of places to lie in the sun with an umbrella. It is not what I would call a high end resort by any stretch."
