"We really enjoyed our stay at Ricao! Absolutely gorgeous views, comfortable accommodations, and fast responses from the hosts. "The location within a sanctuary is extraordinary BUT the 2 bar/ restaurants close about 6 and there’s only the hotel bar/restaurant. So if you want a bit of an evening out you must drive. Also, you can park very early or late but literally thousands of people come during the day so returning to the hotel with a car is impossible. We visited in August, so may be different other times of the year. Hotel is beautiful and the sanctuary with the Basilica and grotto very atmospheric- We wouldn’t stay there again."

"The Picos de Europa Suites and Rooms are a few minutes drive from Potes. Our suite was spacious and comfortable although the hot weather meant that we didn’t feel like using the whirlpool bath. We didn’t take the breakfast option but drove into Potes. Laura gave us a list of restaurant recommendations and the two which we used were very good. She also gave us ideas for places to go sightseeing and hiking. She and her colleague were very friendly and helpful. There is a nice garden to sit and enjoy the fantastic scenery."

"Very peaceful sanctuary with incredibly attentive and helpful staff. The evening dinner while expensive was absolutely amazing! For us it was “WOW” food and plentiful. Actually the two of us could have shared one meal and walked away full! We ate breakfast there all 3 days and don’t regret it. Very convenient and fresh, locally sourced food."

"Great location for visiting Llanes. It's an easy walk for about five minutes to the centre of the town. Parking on the premises is good with an added bonus of some places being under a cover. Room was clean and good size with a massive terrace with sun lounges, table and chairs on. Good breakfast (€15 pp) with selection of hot food, cold cuts of cheeses and meat, yogurt, fruit and pastry etc. No noise any time of the day from inside or outside. There was a large fan in the room, but an air con would have been really great. Large bathroom with a shower; unfortunately no ventilation so it can get steamy."
