A La Giettaz, small family resort mid-mountain, with restaurants and shops. Animations offered every week during the holidays by the tourist office. Many marked hiking trails with varied landscapes and views of Mont Blanc. Renting electric bikes in the village (guided tours offered).
The chalet is located on the heights of the village, between the town center (2.5 km) and the Col des Aravis (2 km). It is on a private road, in a hamlet of ten cottages, so quiet and safe from traffic.
By car, you are 5 minutes from the Col des Aravis, 10 minutes from La Clusaz, 20 minutes from Megève, 30 minutes from Les Saisies, 30 minutes from Albertville, 45 minutes from Chamonix, 45 minutes from Annecy, 1 hour from the airport. Needle of midday, 1h of Roselend dam Studio of 32 m2 on the ground floor of a chalet, located in a hamlet on the heights of the village of La Giettaz (between La Clusaz and Megève, 2 km from the Col des Aravis).

Logement au calme, propre et fonctionnel.
Décoration pas très moderne mais rien ne manque
Emplacement idéale pour les randonnées et visites mais nécessite un moyen de locomotion pour effectuer un ravitaillement (Hameau)
Très jolie village accueillant nous avons eu tous les renseignements souhaité par l'office de tourisme.

L'état de la route sur quelques mètres avant d'arriver serait à améliorer.
Location au calme dans une impasse , conforme au descriptif entre la Giettaz et le col des Aravis avec de superbes vues sur les montagnes . Salon de jardin pour profiter de la vue et manger dehors. Logement très fonctionnel parfait pour un couple avec deux enfants . Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

Très bonne semaine en février passée à La Giettaz
Le studio du rez-de-chaussée est suffisamment spacieux, nous étions un couple et un enfant, l'accès au dehors immédiat, sans vraiment de voitures, est parfait pour les enfants. Sans être luxueux, le studio est confortable, bien équipé et bien chauffé, avec une buanderie pour étendre les combis et un garage pour les skis. La vue est tout simplement magnifique. Le chalet est un peu isolé, donc calme. Mon seul bémol niveau bruit c'est la porte du studio qui donne sur le couloir d'entrée avec la porte d'entrée qui claque fortement, nous avons connu un samedi matin particulièrement bruyant. Mais si vous êtes des lève-tôt, vous n'aurez pas ce souci car très calme le soir et la nuit. Le petit village est à moins de 5mn en voiture, sûrement moins sans neige sur la route, Le Refuge est un petit restau très accueillant où on y mange de bonnes crêpes. Les pistes sont à peine plus loin mais nous n'avons pas fait de ski alpin donc on ne peut rien en dire mais elles n'ont pas l'air surchargées, c'est une petite station avec néanmoins une école de ski et une piste de luge sympa. Nous avons plusieurs fois passé le col d'Aravis, chaînes indispensables en cas de neige, pour aller dans d'autres stations et ça vaut le coup de découvrir la station plus importante de La Clusaz (patinoire + piscines intérieure et extérieure, bowling et une multitude de restaurants et de boutiques) ainsi que Notre Dame de Bellecombe. Belles balades en raquette à faire de part et d'autres du col. En bref, nous avons passé un excellent séjour.
