I very much enjoyed my stay at the property. The staff was super friendly and the property is spacious. The food was outstanding. Having stayed here in the off-season, I felt I got a fantastic deal and for that reason I would stay there again. I do remember seeing the high-season prices, and I don't feel the hotel is as luxurious as it claims to be. For one, it's quite a ways outside of St. Tropez and St. Maxime. There's a super winding road that can literally be very dangerous at night. This road leads from the hotel to La Garde-Freinet to Grimaud and from there to St. Tropez.

Great facilities & comfy rooms

Ultimate Provence is a less traditional and more modern winery stay. Rooms were setup well with a comfortable bed, big bathroom and nice outdoor space. The hotel itself also has great amenities. We utilised the pool and spa but there was also padel & volleyball. However be mindful of when you stay as outside peak times (July/August) certain services (like the full pool bar) are closed. Food in the restaurant was decent (we had lunch & dinner there once each) but there are nicer options at nearby chateaus. However we enjoyed getting out and about to explore anyways. We would have given the stay 5 stars but we were told just before our stay (via email) that the pool would be closed until 6pm during our stay. It appears there was some miscommunication and this was only the case on our first night due to a private event (so not a big deal since checkin is at 4:30pm) but it took a few calls to reception to clear this up.

Getting better?!

Fantastic place! But unfortunately it seemed that the staff was uninspired. At the restaurant we got the bread served after the main course was served. This place has great potential and the lady at the check out was amazingly friendly. So I guess and hope the staff just had a bad day!

Séjour d’une nuit très agréable. Le lieu est magnifique et le staff de l’hôtel très aimable et serviable. Je recommande vivement. Le seul bémol pour moi est d’avoir prévenu le restaurant de mes restrictions alimentaires en avance et celles-ci n’ont pas été suivies. Je me suis donc retrouvée avec une expérience médiocre pour le dîner. Dommage! Pour le reste, tout était très chouette

Grosse déception : espace piscine = camping !

Après une bonne expérience à l'été dernier nous avions décidé de revenir cet été : quelle erreur ! UP a semble-t-il décidé d'ouvrir son espace piscine à la clientèle extérieure et le moins que l'on puisse dire c'est que l'hôtel, qui se veut pourtant exclusif et haut de gamme, est devenu un véritable camping ! L'après-midi, la piscine est prise d'assaut par tout type de clientèle (à la qualité douteuse) qui s'y croit comme chez eux. L'eau de la piscine est trouble, ce qui est d'autant plus inquiétant qu'il n'y a pas de toilettes à proximité. Un autre couple de clients a carrément quitté l'hôtel plus tôt que prévu au vu de la situation ! Malgré plusieurs plaintes au management de l'hôtel, peu a été fait et aucun geste commercial ou mot d'excuse proposé ! Le directeur de l'hôtel était absent de plus ce weekend du 15 août, pourtant certainement un des plus chargés de l'année. Le personnel et les serveurs sont sympathiques et font du mieux qu'ils peuvent pour contenter les clients de l'hôtel ; ils ne sont malheureusement pas soutenus par leur management qui doit préférer faire du chiffre au détriment de la qualité. Nous avons aussi eu quelques soucis dans les restaurants : tant de service TRÈS long, nourriture passée et souvent stockée en plein soleil, certains plats insimpides. Nous avions apprécié ce lieu mais nous chercherons désormais une alternative. Nous ne reviendrons plus !

Schönes Hotel aber nicht jedes Zimmer ok

Schöne Anlage mit eigentlich nettem Service. Das Studio-Zimmer ist jedoch nicht wirklich empfehlenswert, denn es hat keine Fenster mit Sicht, sondern nur Dachfenster und ein Lüftungsfenster. Der Handtuch-Heizkörper und ein Dachfenster funktionierten nicht. Die Reklamation wurde aufgenommen, aber es wurde weder repariert noch bekam man eine Info. Das ist verbesserungswürdig. Ansonsten schöne Anlage und guter Service. Das e-laden des Autos ist im Preis inbegriffen.

The location is superb and a lot of effort and investment are given to keep it as beautiful as it is. We stayed in a classic double room, a bit small but handy. All amenities are at your disposal. A plus point for the mattress, sooo comfy!! Unfortunately the dinner was poor and pretty disappointing. The staff on the premises were very nice and gave their best. Not the same can be said about the event/marketing department. A real nightmare if you plan to book an event.
