"Lovely gite, nice couple very friendly but unfortunately whilst decor etc was lovely for me the basics need tweaking a bit ie: no freeze box, no blinds in the bedrooms, no WiFi and I had to climb into the bath to set the taps for the children to have a shower/bath which I found quite difficult with an arthritic hip. "The photos of the property do not do it justice, it is absolutely beautiful. We had a really wonderful stay here, Phillip was very attentive and informative. "Please stay at this wonderful chambre d’hote. Roxi is the perfect host and you can really tell that she has put her heart and soul into this lovely house. The bedroom we had was amazing and had everything you need including a huge jacuzzi!!! Perfect place to enjoy the town of Verteuil sur Charente. Fresh eggs included in great breakfast. We will be back!!!"
