Run down and over priced

Great location. However the hotel is very run down. we had only cold water in bathroom sink, hot water did not work. Shower had a instant heater that bearly worked. Internett did not work. We tried the restaurant one evening - poor quality. Better go for the restaurants in town or the take-aways that can be great.

The staff is not super helpful or always there, the room price for what you get on la Digue is good, the room has a nice balcony overlooking the water as well. Really the only downfall is the lack of ability for the staff to assist and also tries to take more money from you when renting a bike. Note the price is 100 rupees but some staff will try to take 150 rupees. Breakfast is overpriced and not good.

Great view, well located, helpful staff. Internet spotty and would recommend to add an electric kettle for the amenities. Had a very nice stay at Hotel Ocean.

Séjour Reposant & très agréable

L’hôtel est situé juste en face de la mer, donc une vue magnifique que ce soit au restaurant ou Sur le balcon de la chambre. Nous avons été très bien accueilli, La chambre est spacieuse, Seul point négatif, très peu de wifi.. l’hôtel est très reposant , plages juste à côté Vraiment top :) !

Hyvä hinta laatusuhde

Erittäin hyvä hinta laatusuhde. Tämä ei ole mikään 500€/yö hotelli, joten luxusta ei kannata odottaa. Hotellin sijainti on hyvä, esimerkiksi laivarantaan / ”keskustaan” n. 5 min ajomatkan päästä (taxi 10€). Hotellin henkilökunta mukavia. Koko loman ajaksi kannattaa vuokrata polkupyörä. Hotelli vuokraa polkupyöriä; hinta n. 7 eur/pv. Huoneet siistejä, tosin suihkunurkka oli aika pieni. Meille ei kuulunut hintaan aamupala ja erikseen ostettuna se maksoi n. 21€/ hlö. Lähellä oli kumminkin edullinen takamaka Café, jossa kävimme palalla.

Cockroaches, no internet, but nice view

Our stay at Hotel L’ocean was anything but romantic. The rooms are very dated but the views are at least nice and it is located very near a beautiful beach for sunsets. However, on our first night we were told dinner was served from 7-9, however when we went down at 8:15 there was no one there; no way to even get a water. When we returned to our room hungry, there were cockroaches on our roof and walls. The staff is friendly enough but this place is definitely not worth the money.

Buona posizione, servizio e camera da migliorare!

La posizione e' molto buona, vicino a spiaggia e a La Digue. Fantastica la vista dal balcone. La camera e' sicuramente da migliorare, bagno in cattivo stato. Il servizio non e' stato dei migliiori. Abbiamo fatto colazione solo un giorno dei tre, eravamo gli unici nella sala nonostante fossero le 9:00. Colazione scarsa! Abbiamo anche noleggiato le bici direttamente nella struttura. Bici fatiscenti ed ogni mattina venivano scambiate con altri ospiti.

Välj ett annat hotell!!

Boka verkligen inte detta hotell om du inte måste pga pengar. Det ligger precis vid vatten men standarden är vad du betalar för. Personalen är extremt otrevlig och frukosten går inte att äta!!!
