Quiet Holiday Home in the Heart of Nature
Nestled in the wild and romantic Cévennes, our recently renovated 18th-century stone house offers an idyllic retreat.. You can look forward to a peaceful oasis surrounded by untouched nature. A river lies just a stone's throw away, and within a 15-minute walk you'll reach the adventurous Gorges de Soucy, where canyoning and swimming is possible. The area offers countless hiking and biking trails for explorers, but it's equally perfect for those simply seeking peace and presence. The house was divided into two halves years ago, with the other half occupied year-round The place is accessible only via a roughly 500-meter gravel path. A forest trail leads to the house on foot in less than 10 minutes. For your convenience, we offer a free shuttle service for arrival and departure. Water in the house is supplied from a natural spring. While we test it every year, we cannot guarantee consistent water quality. In addition, the water supply is limited, especially during summer. We therefore kindly ask our guests to use this precious resource mindfully.

Es ist mir wirklich ein Anliegen der Unterkunft und ihren Vermietern die Bestnote zu verleihen!Äußerst liebenswürdige Vermieter, sehr sehr hilfsbereit, großzügig und kooperativ.Die Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage inmitten exklusiver, wilder Natur. Der Erholungs- und Freizeitwert war nicht zu toppen.Das Haus wunderschön eingerichtet und ausgestattet mit allem Notwendigen und darüber hinaus.Wir haben nichts vermisst! Speziell als Familie: Spiele, DVDs, Beamer usw.An Isabel und Stephan nochmals unser aller, auch der Kinder, aufrichtiger großer Dank!!
Isabel et Stephan ont été des hôtes accueillants et chaleureux, au petit soin si besoin.Le gîte a été restauré avec goût, tout le confort y est. Un petit coin de calme et de détente, avec la rivière à proximité pour pouvoir se baigner.

16 begeisternde Tage in den Cevennen. Folgende Aspekte unseres Urlaubs führen zu einer 5-Sterne-Bewertung:Vermieter bzw. Verwalter - sehr liebevolles, aufgeschlossenes Paar, das hilfsbereit ist (u.a. Gepäckshuttle, da die Zufahrt zum Haus über ca. 500 m etwas holprig sein kann. Wir haben unseren PKW sich an der Straße abgestellt)- Sie geben bei Bedarf wertvolle Tips und Hintergrundinformationen zu Ausflugszielen und regionalen Besonderheiten (wir haben sehr davon profitiert, obwohl schon öfters in die Cevennen gereist)- ausgesprochen charmante Unterhaltungen über Gott und die Welt, als wir die beiden auf ein Glas Rosé zu Besuch hatten- keine Reglementierungen oder Aufdringlichkeiten der Vermieter, so dass wir nie das Gefühl hatten, irgendwelchen Erwartungen entsprechen zu müssen Haus und Nachbarn- das Haus (der and uns vermietete Teil) befindet sich in ausgezeichnetem Zustand, ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, überhaupt nicht überladen mit unnötigem Schnickschnack. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht, sogar manuelle sowie elektrische Espressomaschinen, die einen guten Kaffe produzieren. - Betten sind ein Traum: große Matratzen von hoher Qualität (nicht zu weich, nicht zu hart)- Bad mit großem Fenster, guter Dusche und Waschmaschine, die problemlos zu bedienen ist-Terrasse bietet viel Platz und ist im Sommer bis ca 18:00 sonnenüberflutet.
