We did pick a bad week for weather, but found pleasure in the bracing beach walks and Noirmoutier's special iodine-rich sea air! "Only speaking minimal French it was difficult communicating with the manager, as she spoke no English. Likewise the information for the house was only in French. There was 13 of us and just had enough room to all eat together, but it was a squeeze. Also the oven and fridge are small for large group. Lovely big garden but uneven making it hard for the kids to play and run around. With all the space a swimming pool would have been good/useful as a little drive from any beach. The house was clean...
