Machiya Kamo 7

Machiya Kamo7 is a 100 over year old Machiya built out of wood and located very close to the Kamogawa River close to the Keihan line Shichijo Station.

It has just been completely refurbished in 2017 to include all

modern amenities to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

It has a Tatami Room, an Indoor Garden, two Western style bedroom,

2 bathrooms and toilets. There is a modern kitchen that has the original

well that supplied water to the house over 100 years ago.

This is a traditional Kyoto Machiya ( Kyomachiya) renovated to include modern amenities for the comfort of foreign guests. It has a living room, a tatami room, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with toilets, a modern kitchen and dining area. Like traditional Machiyas, there is an indoor garden for further relaxation.

Guests will have the entire house, two floors and indoor garden, for their
private use.

This is a traditional machiya with a tatami room that can sleep 3 people plus an indoor garden located next to it. The upstairs has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom and toilet. The original 100 over year old wooden structure can be seen upstairs.
