「I stayed 2 nights in a Mirembe cottage- my friend had the cottage next door and we had a dedicated outside eating area, from where we were served our food.We were served by James who was consistently courteous and efficient .We felt like film stars on a tropical island as we ate delicious food sitting by the lake watching a wide variety of birds - it was just such a treat!」

「The hotel is bordered by the lake on one side and virgin forest on the other. I took 3 marvelous meals a day and the evening meal had a roaring camp fire. Staff were superb. A boat trip organised by the manager was wonderful, many lake birds, families of monitor lizards and a flock of african grey parrots! Rooms clean, food good, drinks cold, assistance with travel, infact assistance with anything. What more do you want! 」

「Beautiful grounds, well-priced, extremely clean rooms and fast, efficient airport shuttle. We truly enjoyed our one night stay at Papyrus! The cuisine was also excellent and the choices were quite varied! Staff were really friendly and went out of their way to help with any detail, no matter how small. 「Brovad is a must go to if you are taking a trip to Uganda. It's a beautiful get away from the bustle of the city. 「Amazing place to stay in Kalangala. Such a comfortable and clean place to stay. The staff were all friendly and helpful. As we stayed during the week we had the place to ourselves. 「チェックインしたときは、エアコンがつかない冷蔵庫が作動しない、電気がつかないなどの小さなトラブルがありましたが、スタッフの対応が良くすぐに別の部屋に移動してくれました。朝は、オーダー制のブレックファーストで、ランチやディナーも前もって言えば楽しむことができました。近所の治安も良く、ホテルのセキュリティーもしっかりしてたので、安心して滞在を楽しむことができました。」

「Quiet and quaint during an early march visit. I think we were the only people staying there! Pool was great, and our room was right on the lakes edge. 50meters from the ferry terminal. Perfect if you’re looking for cheap and cheerful but don’t expect much more than the perfect base to explore the island」
