Excellent stay with clean and neat rooms and good food.The view and ambience was excellent too…I would recommend the stay.

On the plus side, it's a beautifully situated property, very nicely decorated, with tasty breakfast and good, caring service with a smile. On the minus side, there is no noise insulation in the room at all, you will get very loud environmental noises leech into the room from outside all day and night. The hotel was AMAZING and the service was great, the only thing that wasn’t comfortable is the pillows I hope they change them other the that everything was great and peaceful in this hotel highly recommended!!!

Just an excellent, excellent stay from start to finish in this historic Colonial building. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and the team really just was top notch and really cared about quality of food. The loft was a hit with the kids and the fine correction of loose tea was very much appreciated. We only stayed one night due to our itinerary, but would have loved to have stayed longer. The kids dipped their legs in the pool, but also didn't have the chance to swim due to time constraints....

Besides the long steps up to our room, this was a very pleasant stay for my sisters and I. The owner was very nice and welcomed us. The property has such a beautiful view. The property itself is very cozy sitting on a hill. Every morning breakfast is served, fresh eggs, delicious toast, juice and tea. It's a brand new hotel when I visit the hotel. I was amazed by the facilities and the overall quality of my room when it's compared to it's price tag. The room was clean and smelled good. amenities were good too. I gotta mention about the staff there, they were super friendly and convenient. They gave me an extra hour to check out for free. Jack tree lodge is a nice place to stay, the owner is very nice and the staff too, we felt home. They offered breakfast every morning. The location is a 15 minutes walk from the city which was better for us. The rooms have a nice view. The only disadvantage in Kandy is that almost everything closes around 10 pm so nothing much to do or places to eat.

Excellent location. Room was nice and comfortable. One issue - the wash basin in the bath room did not drain well and there was blockage. As a result there was some smell coming off the bathroom. Shower door did not close well - as a result there was water leakage

The property was a beautiful garden oasis, with lush flowers and trees everywhere. Rooms were modest but very comfortable. Management and staff were incredibly attentive and always friendly. Food was delicious. Would recommend this gem to anyone, and hope to return.

Pearl was a great little place on the side of the mountain near the train station in Kandy. The property is clean, quiet and safe and the sitting area is a place where you could zone out and spend hours reading or just enjoying the view. it is a short walk down to the main streets of Kandy where local restaurants and cafes etc are everywhere. The manager and his wife are very helpful and serve a great breakfast. Be sure you know how you are getting here. Tuktuk or walking WITH google maps...

Excellent place in the middle of nature … very well maintained
