Loved our stay at this property! Great spacious apartment hotel that was in a convenient location near a lot of the local attractions in Kumamoto. Limited parking, but there are plenty of parking lots nearby to use. Staff was very helpful in directing us to them and check-in was a breeze.

I had a great stay at Fav Kumamoto. I arrived earlier than the standard check-in time (around 1 PM) and didn’t expect the room to be ready yet, but the staff kindly checked and let me know it was available. I really appreciated their helpfulness and flexibility. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. It had all the basic necessities—shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and soap—which made the stay very convenient. There was also a laundry machine with detergent included. While there wasn’t a traditional dryer, the bathroom had a heated fan option that worked surprisingly well for drying clothes. Overall, a very pleasant and convenient stay. I’d definitely consider coming back!

The hotel looks quite new with modern design. The rooms are big with plenty of rooms to open your luggage, clean bathroom and toilet, and comfortable bed. There are also multiple paid parking slots in front/ next to the hotel. It’s in walkable distance to the Kumamoto castle. Would stay here again if we come to Kumamoto.

Nice boutique hotel with large rooms and a small kitchenette. Staff are super friendly. The city centre and Kumamoto Castle are just a few minutes away by foot and there is plenty of parking options next to the hotel. Rooms are equipped with a washing machine but no dryer, which is surprising, If you have quite a bit of clothes to wash, like we did (4 pax), there is a laundromat just 2 minutes away where you can dry your clothes after washing them in the room. Another surprise is that here is no cupboard to hang any clothes and no daytime curtains (only black-out curtains). There is no breakfast buffet but you can pay for coffee and a small breakfast selection at the reception area. Otherwise, there’s a 7Eleven just across the street where you can find plenty of breakfast options.

Very spacious rooms with small kitchen area. Comfortable beds. Lots of room and extra futon mattresses are also comfortable. Granola/yogurt breakfast was so good! Nice to have the washing machine in the room and laundromat down the street. Check in was very smooth and staff was very helpful. Great location, lots of nearby pay parking if the spots out front are full. Easy walk to castle, mall and lots of shops. Only con was that the furniture and futon mattresses were a but stained but room seemed clean overall. I would definitely stay here again.

It's a good/very good place to stay. The building is new and modern, although already showing some signs of heavy use. The rooms are well equipped and the kitchenette is small but functional. The beds are comfortable. The location is easy walking distance to the tram (Gofukumachi or Kawaramachi Stations). Check in was smooth and there are staff at the front desk till 10pm. The minor drawbacks are absence of a desk (at least in the room I was in), and the relatively dark kitchenette. Overall, I would recommend the place.

I chose a quadruple room with a very special bed. The children liked it very much and the room space was large. It has a kitchen, drying room, and laundry. I was very happy. You can cook at night. I am very satisfied with this hotel. There are a lot of parking slots next to the hotel, so even if you can't park in the hotel, you can park next to it. So it's very convenient and comfortable. Highly recommended.
