Our plans have changed and we needed to cancel the last two nights. The hotel gave us a full refund with less than 24 hour notice. Very helpful!

We stayed for four days and had a very enjoyable visit. We booked a double room, which was slightly on the small side, but it was very comfortable and had a wonderful view of the city. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was spotless, and the outdoor hot baths were a real treat. The free shuttle bus to and from the station, which takes around 20 minutes, was really helpful. Friendly staff.

Staff was really helpful about ferry schedule to nearby Islands and bus schedule to nearby beaches. They made a lot of helpful suggestions and everything was very smooth. They were probably the most helpful hotel staff we experienced in Japan, and we enjoyed talking with them. We tried the breakfast in the cafe one day and it was good. Would absolutely stay there again.

The hotel was great and comfortable. The free breakfast and free parking was super convenient too- I didn't realize both were free. The amenities were very nice. I would stay again!

The staff was helpful and kind right as we entered the lobby. When for a recommendations for dinner they not only made reservations on our behalf, they wanted to make sure we got there and went out of their way to give us a photo of the place and drew a detailed map for us. The onsen was wonderfull. They had everything one could wish for. 3 bathes: outdoorish, indoor hot and indoor cold. They had all the creams and soaps one could need. Huge room, lot of amenities and delicious and cheap meals.

I stayed at the Kyoto Via Inn before and had great impression, so I booked the Okayama Via Inn as well. However, the hotel is convenient as it is connected to the train station but there's a restroom smell in my room and full of black mold around the window that makes me feel quite uncomfortable.

The room was beautifully furnished, huge by Japanese standards, and incredibly clean. The front desk staff were so kind and helpful!

Front desk was very helpful in switching my reservation from a smoking to a non-smoking room. Rooms were decently clean, and the location is conveniently located near Okayama station.
