"antastic place to spend your time. Mantaray Island about 3.5 hours from the main island in Fiji in the Yasawa Island group, is a beautiful little hamlet of paradise. I spent 5 nights in a Reef Bure (With AC) an was extremely impressed with the cleanliness and general upkeep. The outdoor bathroom is an absolute highlight with its 3 different light/mood settings at night. The Bure itself was also only 12 step from the beach with its beautiful torquay blue water. Great snorkeling is on offer straight off the beach (High tide only) and a lovely hotel pool for low tide. The Restaurant served amazing meals on a set menu that changed every 2 day’s (B,L,D) and during the day you can swap your lunch meal for a pizza by the pool if you like, the resort also offers diving (Which I didn’t do this time) and a Spa that offers a limited but good range of massages. The Hotel is a cashless hotel, so you don’t need to have a wallet full of cash like I had. Overall this is a very good 4 star operation in the Yasawa group, and I am definitely looking to come back in July-September next year when the Mantaray swim past the Island. "

"Everything about Matamanoa Island was exceptional. The staff were attentive, the food was delicious and the staff also provided the entertainment singing to the guests each evening. I stayed in a garden room which had ample space and with tea/coffee and milk provided along with complimentary toiletries I felt it represented good value for money. There were trips available to other islands aling with snorkeling trips. All in all very happy with the resort and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. "
