The location of the hotel cannot be any more perfect, it's literally right in the center of the heart beat of KL beside the pavilion mall and metro line. Due to its location its loud and very busy all day and night. However, the hotel is definitely dated and needs work but the location cannot be beat.

Room was ok clean tho it was a non smoking room i can smell cigarettes odour inside the room. Probably this was due to the poor ventilation system from the upper floor. Walkable distance to major shopping malls. Great.

If you are looking at doorstep accessibility with your family, shops and can walk conveniently to Pavillion, Fahrenheit, Lot 10 mall, Ansa Hotel KL will be è one 👍👍 at affordable rates & not too small room too. Overall 7/10 from check in till check out.

This is a very central hotel in the Pavillion area and the price is a little higher accordingly. Staff very helpful. Room good although it seems there are Deluxe and ANSA Deluxe rooms. The latter have apparently been renovated. I have one of the slightly cheaper Deluxe rooms. Still nice but I expect it will be in line for an upgrade.

Bad experience

Priced at 5 star but worth a 2 star. Nightly rate was way cheaper at walk in rather than booking in advance from websites. Old hotel without any facilities. Some weird smell everywhere in the hotel. Staff not friendly and the neighbourhood is very noisy.

I had a disappointing experience in Ansa Hotel. I had specifically requested for my 2 rooms to be side by side as I was travelling with my 2 teenage girls. When we arrived, the staff gave us 2 rooms in 2 different levels. Despite explaining our concerns, he flatly rejected our requests claiming it was the agent's fault for acceding to my request and claimed Hotel was full for the day. Only when we refused to accept, then the staff managed to find 2 rooms on the same level. Rooms were not up to good standard too. Regretted my booking. Wont recommend it. There are many hotels that provide good service in this vicinity.

A few areas that are very disappointing 1. Hotel drop off area - you need to take the stairs to the lobby. Which is very silly. Most tourists will have luggages. That’s inconvenient. 2. Dirty areas. The carpets were stained. And the whole building looks shabby. Strange smell also. Smells mouldy. 3. You can’t use Apple Pay. Need the physical card. Which is another inconvenience. 4. Cleaning staff woke us up and asked why we have not checked out. Only to realise they got the wrong room. Frustrating. The saving grace is the location. Which is really near to Pavilion malls etc
