The Forest Hotel in Krakow is a fantastic place to stay, offering a calm, modern atmosphere just outside the bustle of the city. The rooms are spotless and well‑maintained, and the entire property feels exceptionally clean and cared for. Dining is a real highlight — the on‑site restaurant serves fresh, well‑prepared dishes with plenty of variety, making meals something to look forward to. The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful, creating a welcoming experience from check‑in to departure. Transport links to the Old Town are excellent as well; with convenient bus and tram connections nearby, getting into the centre is quick and hassle‑free. Overall, it’s a comfortable, well‑run hotel that makes exploring Krakow easy and enjoyable.

It was a nice & secluded hotel. From the side of Willa Bazsta & Zinar castle is a fantastic view of the river & Krakow city centre. The staff in general are polite, friendly & helpful. Especially that lady at the reception when we arrived last 26 June at 9pm, she’s looked after us well. I know the hotel is using a certain taxi company to bring guests to different destinations. When we left the hotel going to the airport, the taxi driver charged us double the price. This was last 29 June at 5pm. It’s a shame because we used different taxi companies when we’re up & about Krakow & all the taxi drivers were honest except for this odd one on our way home. Forest hotel should review this taxi company’s honesty to their customers

Perfect hidden gem, a MUST stay!

Truly one of the BEST hotel stays in Europe we've experienced. The location is beautiful, in the woods surrounded by beautiful nature, and next door to another large hotel with a restaurant that overlooks the city below. But also located close enough to the city where ubers are convenient, fast, and cheap. Perfect location. The staff we talked with all spoke English, which we were grateful for. We were grateful too that our room was available early. The view of the woods, room, bathroom, and hotel were fabulous. Modern and clean and tidy. The saunas and salty iodine spa made this hotel enen MORE enjoyable. All of our requests and questions were always met with a smile and graciousness. We would love to and plan to stay here again, hopefully longer!

The people at the property were very nice and so so helpful! The rooms were nice! The bathroom was clean and great lighting! The happy way upon entering the floor to find your room was very dark and creepy. And I did have bugs in my room which is practical/normal when your staying close to the forest but I am not a big person so certain bugs did have me stressed in my room LOL! But overall very quiet and able to sleep and the sauna was lovely!

It's a peaceful place for sure, and perfect if you want to calm a fried brain with nothing but trees and the sounds of birds all around. If you want to see the city this place isn't where you want to be though.

It's a peaceful place for sure, and perfect if you want to calm a fried brain with nothing but trees and the sounds of birds all around. If you want to see the city this place isn't where you want to be though.

This is a wonderful hotel set in beautiful forestry. The outside has a bit of Crossroads vibe to it and then continuing the tv nostalgia my room made me feel like I’d walked in the Brady Bunch home. Front desk staff were excellent and professional. Breakfast was great too. The hotel was booked mainly due to its proximity to Krakow Airport. Much more reasonably priced than the airport hotels and so peacefully quiet and relaxing. It's rare for me to walk into a hotel room and want to take pictures, but this room had a great 70s retro feel with a modern twist that took me back to my childhood.

inconsistent/inconvenient service, nice overall

This was an odd experience. The hotel listing advertises room service at this property, and the first night of our stay we ordered room service without a problem, enjoying a very pleasant meal. The second night, a different person at the front desk said they didn't have room service and it was impossible that we had received it the previous night (super weird) and said they had no idea how we had ordered it before, even when I said their hotel advertised room service as an amenity and we'd already enjoyed it. They suggested we go to the restaurant downstairs. We did, and at 6:45 pm they were closing and told us we couldn't be served unless we'd already paid (we had not). What sort of restaurant closes before 7 pm? And why does your ability to order room service depend on the whim of the person staffing reception? Apart from this, the location was lovely, the room was clean and comfortable, and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a retreat just outside of Krakow. Not if you want to eat at the property though!

Have stayed here several times. Service is always good. Rooms are comfortable. Located between Krakow center and airport. Only downside is that public transportation is not readily available here
