自然のなかでぼーっとする

昨年11月に続いて2度目の宿泊でしたが、スタッフの何人かは私たち家族をよく覚えていてくれて驚きました。 自然の濃い環境なので、生物との接近遭遇に耐えられない方には向かないかも。 でも、すべて十分ですし、朝食つきでこのお値段はなかなかないと思います。 そうそう、簡素なジムにも１基ですがパワーラックがあって、ちゃんとトレーニングできます。 本当になにもせず、リーフエッジの波頭を眺めてぼーっとしたい、みたいな方には最適かと思います。 朝日夕日月星空の美しさは筆舌に尽くしがたいモノですし、必要な方にはキンキンに冷えたフィジービターもばっちり👍

All the staff were wonderful. Our second time there and they remembered our names and couldn’t have looked after us any better. The Kids Club staff were brilliant (shout out to Isi and Tash) who cared for and loved our grandchildren each time they went. One of our grandchildren had their birthday while we were there and they made it so special for her, even organising a cake. Friendly and genuine. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Sigatoka is a 20 minute bus trip (for all of $2!) to get supplies and visit the market to grab all the fresh fruit you want. You won’t be disappointed. We’ll be back.

I feel like the pictures posted for this accommodation is slightly misleading. The deluxe room we stayed in didn't even have any wifi and typical amenities such as cotton ear buds, etc. The western food on their menu was quite bland and distasteful, however, the local/indian selection was quite nice. The service itself was quite abysmal as we often had to wait at least 30 minutes before food had arrived. Overall it was okay, but I did feel misled by the photos. The only saving grace for this place is the people that work there. I've never met such fun, lovely, and hospitable people before!

Es soll ein 4*Hotel sein, aber hat den Charme einer Jugendherberge. Der Service war sehr langsam und nicht motiviert. Das Frühstück war sehr einfach. Besser außerhalb in Maui Bay (Tankstelle) frühstücken. Abendessen ist für den Preis wirklich nicht wert. Im Restaurant gibt es nur billigste Plastikstühle. Karte bekommt man nicht an den Tisch sondern liegt an einem separaten Tisch aus.Das Personal ist auch nicht sonderlich motiviert. Der Pool war nur minimal gechlort und war deswegen grün. Die Musik am Pool war auch sehr laut. Jetzt mal was positives. Der Strand sah recht chic aus, baden aber bitte mit Badeschuhen, wegen der Korallen. Die Bungalows waren recht schmucklos und etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Wir sind vorzeitig nach einer Nacht abgereist, da das Hotel höchstens 1* verdient hat. Wir werden definitiv nicht nochmal wiederkommen. Die einzigen Mitarbeiter die wirklich motiviert und ihren Job gut gemacht haben, waren die Kofferträger. Die waren auch die einzigen die sich für ihr Hotel entschuldigt haben. Vom Hotelservice kam in dieser Richtung gar nichts.

The facilities are pretty run down - lots of mould in the bathroom, 2 days of brown water coming from the taps, we had to turn away from the looks of the electricals outside of our bungalow as it looked rather dangerous. The staff is friendly personally but very slow in service or attending to a request. The staff members at reception and the maid exempt. We still enjoyed our stay as the resort is very relaxed and kids friendly. We would not come back though.

Pleasant, nice grounds, big spacious rooms. Big drawback for us was no internet beyond the restaurant, especially as my son had 2 meetings to attend UK time at 1am and 3am!

Nice it has everything you need and at a reasonable price. Cleaning staff are lovely and attentive. Some things are looking a little tired like the pool and the bathrooms but most of it is in great shape. The front desk and cleaners are helpful, though the restaurant sometimes gets behind the busy, like at breakfast.

Beautiful spot on the coral coast. Beachfront bures had wonderful views across garden and palm trees to the sea. Food limited but OK. Curries and Kokoda were good. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Facilities were a bit dated but clean. Snorkeling and diving on the reef was super convenient. We saw loads of fish. Enjoyed the spa and the activities offered.

I have stayed at the Hideaway for the past ten years. Although there are many other prestigious resorts at the Coral coast, I love staying at the Hideaway because the bures are only steps away from the beach, it is a place of peace, the resort is not too big and therefore not impersonal and all of the staff are so caring and friendly and a big shout out to the manager Miva who would do anything to make sure you all of your needs are catered for. Only negative is the poor internet connection.

This place is not 5 star but it is relaxed, comfortable and the staff are great. People feel welcome. Guest accommodation is in individual bures, which are large and have a big bathroom with shower as well as a private outdoor shower and bath. There are plenty of onsite activities if wanted and transport to nearby attractions/restaurants etc are easily arranged.

Constantly felt invisible and frustrated throughout the entire stay. Food was revolting and literally the only option as it was a very remote location; can only recommend eating from the 'tandoori kitchen' but waiting for a table, menus, to order and then food is a regular challenge (even though it wasn't busy). Activities staff were friendly, however f&b staff were mostly a nightmare to deal with. Not a relaxing holiday, consistently felt frustrated by the incompetence of staff, also music was extremely loud & there's constant yelling at the pool and bar areas. Seems like there is zero management and staff are just doing as they please. Lots of stray & malnourished animals around. Very dirty cutlery, plates & common areas. They mop the floors in your room daily and that's about it, getting a clean towel is mission impossible. The internet wifi is barely available, and when you can get a signal it's only available in the loud common areas. Very run down, poorly run & constant smells of sewerage throughout the 'resort'. Do not recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Fiji Hideaway Resort & Spa, and it truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with the warmest smiles — not just from the amazing staff, but from fellow guests as well. The energy here is simply contagious; it’s impossible not to relax and enjoy yourself. The service throughout my stay was outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of, always with genuine kindness and that famous Fijian hospitality. One of the highlights of my trip was snorkeling the reef just in front of the resort every morning. It’s incredibly convenient to have such beautiful, vibrant marine life right at your doorstep. I saw colorful fish, coral, and even the occasional sea turtle — the perfect way to start each day. Between the excellent service, the unforgettable snorkeling, and the constant positive energy from everyone around, my time at Fiji Hideaway was nothing short of amazing. Can’t wait to come back!

We had a one-night stay enroute from Suva to Nadi. The bure was quite far from the main area which was only an issue because it was raining and there was no shelter in between. Our kids loved the slide at the pool. The meals were very reasonably priced & the breakfast was substantial. We also enjoyed the happy hour quiz.
