"Great old hotel, in a perfect location for exploring Nelson. They have done a great job of preserving/restoring the period feel while also providing modern amenities. One small complaint is that the fridge in our room (like many small fridges in hotels) was noisy."

"One night stop. Disappointed right off there was no secure parking but assured it was safe. Room was small but nice and a good bed. "

"The rooms were nothing special, but they weren't bad. The property is about 15 mins from Cranbrook, but it was easy to drive in and we had no problem getting cabs to and from town. We used the hottub and steamroom which were great. We also dined at the hotel restaurant which was incredible! We checked out the casino as well. Will hopefully be back to check out the golf course as well. Our favourite spot in town was Encore brewing, so fun and not too busy."

"The pools are the biggest reason to visit and they do not disappoint. There is a lovely trail along the lakefront. The cabin accomodation was very comfortable and spacious. My personal preference would be to include a small microwave rather than the fancy bidet toilet."
